This series just goes to show that cars are much more capable than people give them credit for. Sure, it's not lifted, it doesn't have lockers and isn't 'off-roading', but it's still doing what you need it to do and you didn't pay north of $80K for it.

Hi, it's 3.785 l/gal, so 30l is about 7.9us g. $60 cdn is 43usd about 40 when you took the trip. About 5.25 usd/gal of premium, cheaper the California

5.3 usd/gal is what I paid for regular gas near Los Angeles last month. California ⛽️ gas prices are crazy.

I watched the video years and years ago about a guy that lived up that way that drove an old air-cooled all-wheel drive Porsche 911 as is daily. It was lifted and on off-road tires and he used it for hunting and fishing.

It’s a great drive! I’ve done it several times on two wheels. You’re lucky that you weren’t delayed by wildfires.Did the Prudhoe Bay ride on a BMW. then later on a Harley. You don’t understand what the phrase “middle of nowhere” means until you’ve been on the Haul Road.

Roman not good for a man who travels the world outside the US. 3.785 litres per us gallon, or 4.546 litres per imperial gallon which was the official Canadian measurement until 1978. But in remote areas like the AL CAN highway you may still find equipment and aircraft with imperial volumes.

Side rear window stickers are better on the drivers side as you use those windows less for manoeuvring. Not a huge issue, just advice from someone who has done it wrong and been annoyed at himself.

Enjoying the series but a missed opportunity to spend a little bit of time on the compelling story behind the Alcan construction, particularly its strategic importance during WWII and the role of African-American Soldiers in segregated units constructing it. As you most likely know, yes ppl "can" drive in Ak. But the vast majority of the state, most get around by aircraft, boat or ATV or dog sled. As we're doing atm. & trust we've seen lots of wildlife, some is we have more time. Plus own aircraft & rented plus know where to go. But it is always fun to see you in Alaska! The BIGGEST State with THE BIGGEST Mountains 😂! &Agreed w/your statement at restaurant about it's the only state left that allows as much rugged personal freedoms as one can "enjoy"(my mother served the state for a long ⌛️ & made some of its lasting laws to this day)that is true. Though it certainly has it's drawbacks too. As for the car, 2024 is not 1954! Winter is when ppl really "need" certain vehicle types. VS summer. Bc unlike CO where "cold" is maybe 18 Above Zero😂 or MAYBE 24 Below Zero it can be 60 below without windchill factored in! & legit snow that once off the road, you either sink waist high or byeeee lol. And Mountain Grades ? Oy both Canada & Alaska do not prohibit steep grades on Big trucks, let alone cars! If they did consumerism would come to a hault, minus boat/air shipping. & as you can see petrol isn't exactly "cheap". But OTR hauling is the Cheapest way to haul freight to & from! Anyway - we'd have ❤to take you flying w/us! We all enjoy you so much Roman!

There’s not enough footage of the actual drive, looking out at the road in these vids. Even if the videos were twice as long, it would’ve been better that way. Kyle from Out of Spec reviews is great at showing long portions of the drive in his vlogs and those videos run 1-3 hours. Just a suggestion. Keep it up.
