be careful about passing judgement so quickly. mom arrived to pick up daughter thinking ok kid's having a bad day. she was completely blindsided with information that she's in the other room in police custody. that's heavy news for any parent and not easy to process. later when the other officer came out and talked to her, she had time to process things at least a little bit, but the details still threw her off balance. especially if this is her youngest, her baby, and none of this had ever happened before with miss 13 or older siblings, the response you see in this video is knee-jerk, not rational after fully digesting the facts. i noticed mother referred to herself as "custodian" so i doubt the reality of home is 2 biological parents with a healthy marriage. take a child with emotional problems that are likely undiagnosed, add some chemical instability beyond typical pubertal changes, put that child in a less than ideal home situation, and a school setting where staff/faculty fail to connect with her no matter how much compassion they have (it's there and apparent to me whether anyone else sees it or not), even if she has real friends not many her age are equipped to recognize a problem when they see it and know how to help her through it. miss 13 very likely feels isolated and hopeless without awareness of how she or anyone else can help her deal with the shit kids have to deal with today on top of her probable mental issues. perfect mom? none are. every parent makes mistakes. mom not doing her best? idk. go interview the family and observe how mom does her momming, THEN pass judgement. edit: then there was the mom's complaint to the pd. mom's complaint is very clearly misinformed, manipulated by miss 13's version of events. no parent wants to admit that their child has problems. every parent wants to believe their child's version of things. this mom is in denial, and yes, that is a problem. i hope she sees this video and realizes the severity of her daughter's problems.

Mom doesn’t care anything whatsoever about being a mother. She is the poster child for the new liberal ideological egg donor who attempts to retain eternal youth vicariously through her daughter. She will claim to everyone that she and her daughter are like sisters and are “besties”. Absolute guarantee that mom is a perpetual “victim” and has taught her daughter that there are no consequences for her behavior (clearly). She is a disgrace and her daughter will never develop ANY worth other than the attention she gets from men. She’s raising the next generation of prostitution. Mom should be charged with child neglect. The daughter will ABSOLUTELY be pregnant and on every social service available by 15. Taxpayers are definitely supporting this whole dumpster fire.

@@paisleybabie6055 Nope, she will get money instead. The original cop is in deep doodoo. Yes, this kid is a mess, but cops are taught to de-escalate and give a lot of warnings before they become physical and force suspects to the ground. Saying "you know what? I can put you in cuffs" as a warning for her rudeness and then she gets even mouthier and he immediately forces her to the ground and puts cuffs on her because of verbal rudeness. She never said she will resist arrest/etc, nor was she even given the opportunity. He didn't even make it clear that he wanted her in cuffs (he just said "I could") before he put her to the ground. He skipped so many steps. He also knows he messed up, because he's told his supervisor that they had already taken her phone (lie) and she tried to snatch it back (lie) and she was squaring up (as if to attack, lie). Well I agree her behavior is deplorable the officers behavior is much more deplorable. Officers today tend to get physical way too fast and escalate things for no reason. They get their feelings hurt Andy said to go ahead and do whatever they want. This is why there are tons of lawsuits against officers that cross a line and it ends up collecting the city the state and the national government tons of money which is actually your money. A properly trained officer would be able to handle this situation without getting physical, at least to that degree. I agree that her actions deserve some punishment but this is going to do nothing to help anyone.
