I have him in my top 3. Not only for his skill in the ring, but his impact on fighter marketing. He was the first professional fighter to actively embrace the "heel" role and monetize it to the point more haters were paying to watch him lose, than fans were to watch him win. And that's because we knew he wouldn't lose. The man literally became one of the richest athletes because of his haters 49-0-0(3-0) His last properly sanctioned fight was Berto. If i remember right, Mayweather left hooked him & Hatton flew towards the corner pad head first, headbutted it and flopped on the floor. Was on the floor again about 5 seconds after the count and it was waived off. I think he was more exhausted than lights out. Mayweather was playing with him after about the 5th round and i think it was the 10th he got the TKO. The PacMan KO of Hatton was a lot worse. That was lights out as soon as he landed. I thought he was gonna end up fkd for life. His bird screamed as soon as that punch landed and the medics had him in the ring sorting him out and even put a neck brace on him. That was one of the most savage KOs I've ever seen with smaller blokes. Hatton lucky he's not a vegetable after that fight.
