Boxers are technically mechanically perfect with punching movements...But the exceptional fighter eg Bruce Lee, understands a true fighting expert knows defeating an opponent is about being aware of what your opposition is not...Down to the nano second...The punch destination should not be determined until you are aware that the opponent has lost focus, even for a tenth of a second...Floyd does this naturally but doesn't seem conscious enough of it to actually talk about it. Predator prey psychology. Tyson did this too, all the greats did.

I have never been a fan of his. However, his fundamentals of boxing are incredible!Fundamentals are key to any sport. Mayweather has that in spades. His hand speed and defense were far and above his opponents. I give him his due and respect his boxing abilities. He’s a natural but he obviously still put in the work. You gotta respect that.
