It's trully amazing how there small dev team in France managed to make such a realistic game with Unreal 5 engine.

I remember playing battlefield 3 for the first time. And I was stuck behind a rock because the entire enemy team was shooting around. Tanks rounds shooting at buildings behind me. And I could see hers coming down to shoot at that tank. I took a moment to appreciate how the game just pushes towards moments like that.

That dice team were masters in creating war cinematics. imo, BF1 was the most cinematic game ever created. BF3 and 4 are very close to it.

@@PrasathMGM i remember putting on my gas mask, jumping into a trench with a melee weapon and killing someone. Or the time when I heard a whistle followed by artillery strikes and explosions everywhere. BF1 is so epic

The one thing BFV has going for it is atmosphere. One time, I was an American medic on the strip of islands shaped into a crescent, and it was the last 20 to 30 seconds of a match, and I was running around helping people the entire time, as I heard gunshots all around me, but bombers were flying within 30 feet of me, so I couldn't see anything but the next 2 people I was going to help. We lost, but that is, without a doubt, my favorite experience in BFV, maybe in all of gaming. It HONESTLY felt like a real movie scene.

The Unrecord footage feels like it was made using VR. The way the head tilts and that the player can aim seperate to where they're directly looking could couldn't be achieved playing flat. I don't think so anyway.

You may want to update yourself on this. Initially no one believed it, until one of the devs showed all the pieces in the Unreal Engine 5 editor and running it too. UE5 engine is insane in details.

As someone said, there's a video of the dev no-clipping around the map showing other movements like a ghost. And if you pay attention, you can see a nice floating door handle off to the left as he walks through to talk to the suspect. Real life door handles rarely hang out on their own suspended in mid-air.
