It is true that the speed you get is higher now, but the thing that got nerfed is that the speed now decays over the duration. Patch 14.19 made it faster for a split second but it decays really fast (havent sat down and tested it exactly so I dont know how fast it decays)

Most people say that Garen loses to lots of top champs like Riven and Fiora. but I see you keep winning. What is your take on the Garens matchup against those two?

Both if the matchups are super snowbally so if you fall behind early, your gonna look like this Riven. Just play safe early and reapect their damage and you should be good.

garen is stronger than these two early game and you should get ahead while you can. Because if you are losing or on equal terms, they will affect on the game more (riven can kill your backline in mere seconds, fiora, well you know). If garen gets ahead though, they are getting fcked, cause you scale on damage and mobility very fast and they just cant kill you alone
