While it makes me angry that these ladies suffered, it was said the judge found the resort wasn't guilty of wrong doing, not that they weren't liable for a death on their premises. It just means they didn't act with negligence. They may have hired someone to install the beds who did it wrong, or the beds came without setup instructions, or perhaps it wasn't even one of their staff who did the setup. My key was in the room with them because I got back a little later but since they were chilling in the room and said they’d let me in when I got back, I stupidly thought it’d be ok to leave my key. I banged on the door for 30 minutes to wake them up (they didn’t) before going down to the front desk to explain. They said they couldn’t replace my key due to safety issues. It was midnight and there were two occupants already in the room, blah blah blah. I told them I was the third occupant. Front desk woman wouldn’t do a thing. I ended up sleeping out in the damn hallway and at around 6 or 7 am, I went to one of my professors on the trip to explain why I was sleeping in the hotel hallway. We went to the lobby so my professor could lay in to the receptionist as to why one of his students had to sleep in the hallway. Needless to say she got an earful from us and we reported her. There’s gotta be no grief greater than knowing that your son is forever entombed in a cavern. And all he wanted to do was spend the day with his family, doing the thing he loved most. @@GraveMemories Many people had those same thoughts when it happened (including myself); however, whether or not the parents were negligent in no way detracts from the horror and sadness of the little guy’s fate. If you’re actually curious about the story, it’s easily found online. After thorough investigation, the Marriott (restaurant owner) agreed that the child wasn’t allowed to wander off unattended. My parents were always extremely vigilant in watching over me during my youth. I lost my wonderful mom to COVID eight months ago. RIP, Mama. I miss you so much. I’m sure Charlie’s parents miss their boy. Take care.

Kind of like Debbie Stone - she was crushed to death in between the walls of the "America Sings" attraction at Walt Disney World. Look for Mr. Ballen here on KZbin and checkout his videos. They're the best and told it story format like this but more informative and entertaining.

@@cali.girllivinnnevada8 This is adultery - plain and simple. It's wrong all the way around! God implemented the institution of marriage as it is written in his word "ONE man for every woman and one WOMAN for every man!!! Get a clue and stop thinking that something is acceptable simply because people do it. John 6:5 "For all who are born of flesh are born of sin." This means that people are evil by the nature of their spirits and are prone to doing that which is offensive to the almighty God - creator of all.
