I endured emotional abuse over 25 year marriage. I tried EVERYTHING to please/appease her. Nothing worked. I suffered depression, loneliness, loss of self. Nothing was ever her fault, and all our issues were my fault in her eyes. My eyes were opened and I left 5 years ago, divorced 2 years ago. Her mind games continue. I have slowly healed and recovered myself. Married to my true soul mate from youth. I am convinced there are demonic spirits associated with these narcs. There is something other worldy about their ways. Truly evil because they have no shame or remorse. They have shed their humanity and ability to engage in introspection and accountability.

Praise God almighty! I’ve been wrestling with a succession of high profile narcs in various settings, including Christians and know the Lord is in it. I woke at 2 this morning, prayed warfare prayers and asked God to direct me. I opened KZbin and there you were, with a perfect word that has already given me tons of inspiration for a project I’m working on. This is a worldwide epidemic including in the church since people turning away from God has made us more vulnerable. I’m so grateful I found this. Thank you, Lord Jesus!

It’s not true. I’ve seen the one that had a truck accident and he is totally disabled at 41 in a nursing home. His mom and sister that encouraged him to abandon his family actually abandoned him when he needed them.

Give it time. It can take decades. I am 52. I started to become aware of my mother's brother's ev1. l intent towards me when I was 15. I am 52. My mother is the eldest of four siblings. He is the youngest sibling (and the only son). He is a narcissist and so is my mother. The other two sisters appear to be normal or empaths (thanks to my mother and her brother, I am estranged from everyone else except for one of her sisters. My mother began complaining about me when I was about 5). I haven't seen any of my cousin's since I was 10 -15 and they were 2 - 15. Their minds were poisoned against me by my mother and her brother. My mother and I went to stay with her brother when I was 15. He was married and had three daughters (aged 8 and the twins were 4). He scapegoated me and bullied me for leaving the table before dinner was served which I did because one of the twins crashed into me, spilling drink all over my beautiful white Summer dress. He told me that I was causing problems in his home and between his wife and himself. She disciplined the kids but he took their side. Then he told my mother to remove me from his home so we went back home. Ever since then, he treated me as if I didn't exist and when I was 31, I found emails between my mother and her brother where she was complaining about me as usual and he was egging her on, including telling her to use a Mickey F. i. nn and have me treated. At the same time, he is posting photos of his daughters all over social media, calling them fabulous etc. They were always made to feel like they were celebrities by him. A couple of years ago, the aunt I have contact with started telling me a lot of family secrets. She also tells me that they (she, her other sister and the brother) that they know there has always been a problem with my mother. They have difficulties dealing with her, always have. They think she is getting worse with age. So what was her brother doing taking her side, taking her stories about me seriously all those years? A few years after we stayed with him, he gets divorced from his wife. I was about 18 Then when I was about 21 he gets diagnosed with MS about two years after that. Remember, every time he calls our house (where I am still living with my parents) he just tells me in a cold voice that he wants to speak to my mother. I am his niece and he treats me worse than if I was a lowlife on the streets. Still he keeps encouraging my mother's complaining about me. So, two years ago one of his twin daughters dies suddenly. I am told by my aunt that it wasn't COVID but it was a sudden health issue. I'd had no contact since she was 4. She died at age 41. She went to the hospital feeling bad, then went home to her husband and two daughters then and a couple of days later she was gone. Karma is real. I have seen it. Still, he keeps right on hating me for no good reason. My aunt told me that he was very upset that my mother didn't attend his daughter's funeral. My theory has always been that when I came along, he didn't like it because my mother took over as his mother when their mother died (he was about 5 and my mother was about 20). So he turned me into the b1 @. c. k sheep of the family, making my mother direct her narcissism towards me so that I had no support from her, he was always the golden child. Since his daughter died, most of my bitterness at him has left me. I know he will hurt like he hurt me for the rest of his life. It only took nearly four decades.

Told my wife of 6 years on weekend when we got into a fight, she is a narcissist. Her response was odd as she stopped, looked at me and said “I’ve never had anyone tell me that”. I said “because people are scared of you” My wife spent 2022/2023 drinking 6 days a week, on average 5 days at neighbors and coming home at 2,3,4 in the morning. She would sleep Saturday and Sunday all day get up at 3pm and go to work for 5 and get off at 10, but wouldn’t come home until 2,3,4 am depending on how much the two neighbors were partying. Our daughter was 1 in 2022 so that tells you her priorities. I also work 10 hr days and also had to take care of her son most days who is 10 now. Nothing worse than when he would ask me where his mom was, I’d just say not sure but I’ll make sure she gives you a kiss when she comes home. My wife even now after 3 months of marriage counselling states she is allowed to have a life, and without neighbors she has no life, most fucked up thing I’ve ever heard. She also agrees to things like a date nite every month, but now says she wants it to be with a group of people so we can party. wtf I’ve learned narcissistic woman are not able to stick to anything they agree to do, expect everyone to read their minds, use sex to punish, it’s all about them and never about anyone else,

@@cassiebennet4262 we have an amazing woman who’s a psychotherapist and we each had one on ones so we didn’t go in without her knowing what issues we had. She actually told me she wouldn’t take us on as marriage counselling doesn’t work when one person has a substance abuse. I just told her I have no choice as she threatened to take half of everything I worked for over the past 25 years, I’d lose my house I had before we met, half my pension I’ve saved 20 years. Also I couldn’t allow my wife to have my daughter and me not being there to ensure she’s safe. She took us on.

Folks after having dealt extensively with my narcissistic wife’s family and extended family who made her their exclusive family scapegoat (A G-dly woman who loved Christ and did her best as my wife) and seeing what she went through, no matter how she and I would appease or try to work with them, no such doings. Consider and meditate upon Psalm 73, the wealth, pomposity of the wicked (narcissist), the slippery slide and terror of them into Sheol, contrasting that to the righteous man (Asaph) his being torn over what he sees while remaining faithful to G-d, entering into the Temple of G-d then realizing so much more about the wicked and how beat down he was, yet G-d holds him by his right hand throughout his life and into eternal fellowship with G-d himself.

Mine lost his legs due to the poor care of his diabetes. I had often said, "Revenge belongs to God. If I am lucky, He will let me watch. If I am really lucky, He will let me participate. Well, as usual God had the last laugh. I was at the hospital with my dad when my ex was brought in due to a diabetic coma. Thus began the watching stage of his journey. My ex was 6'5". He was paralyzed from mid-torso down. He had horrible sores on his legs and one buttock. When he was younger his theme song was "Bad To The Bone". As he aged it became Toby Keith's "As Good As I Once Was". Well, the doctor came in to inform him about the double amputation and half of his right buttock. They had to remove 3'6". Well, he became half the man he used to be by going bad to the bone and half-a**ed to boot. He was never "right" again. I got to watch and participate. But God made sure I would need to show Christian sympathy and compassion.

My narcissist was like this. But he would try to turn the guilt onto me. Transposed his guilt onto me. Say that I would have to face the consequences in judgment. Four years after I threw him out he died. Alone. And do not know if he realized what he did all his life before he died. By the by. We never married but he treated his ex wife the same and his deceased wife the same. I am still alive and very involved with my Devout Catholic faith. I have a ton of really good true Christian friends. And I am trying to forgive him. I do not place judgment. That is my job. That is God’s job. Judgement of others is so far above my pay grade. Jesus said that Satan is the ruler of this world (John 12:31). God is still in control and puts limits on him (read Job 1-2), but He does give Satan a long leash in this world. So Satan isn’t dominating God so much as God allows him a lot of leeway for now. The time will come when Christ will return and Satan will be bound into the abyss for a thousand years (Revelation 20:2).

Is this really true about a narcissist? I have suffered with a narcissist who really wasn't a good friend! I am was not happy with being used for my money and my storage unit! A person who doesn't understand that not all relationship s end up happily ever after ! Financial abuse taking advantage of others is wrong! No matter what someone may say about it no one deserves to have someone lie to their face and pretend to be someone else and repeat the same behavior again until they get tired of you until they start blaming you for their own toxic behavior and actions towards you which is wrong and hurtful God knows everything exactly because God wants you and me to be happy but a unhappy person like a narcissist does not want your happiness to them we are nothing not even human beings that have any feelings what so ever think again narcissists we do have feelings and for me I have learned a very hard lesson from my narcissist ex-boyfriend who refused to change his ways and didn't even care about his own self worth and of course his own bank account for me this was true! But unfortunately for me I didn't see any of the warning signs that would tell me that I was in a narcissistic relationship with a narcissist friend it was only until I ended it did I see it for what it was! Not a good friendship that is for sure! Greed and envy will drive them to steal whatever they want from you be it your money or anything else that you may have of yours! Even your photos of your parents and your grandparents and even pictures of your father which you will never see ever again and for you their entitled mind set is a nightmare for you! No contact means no more drama and abuise and problems that a narcissist or other narcissists will cause you to realize your relationship is not good for you and not what you want to endure anymore! Because who wants to be friends with a selfish abusive disfunctional dishonest man who has never grown up and never understands what he is doing is un moral and wrong? If you are in experiencing this kind of disfunctional relationship with someone who is like this please seek some therapy regarding this narcissist behavior and drama that you have experienced after their love Bombing of you! Unfortunately for me I am not the same person anymore because of my own problems with a narcissist friend and his narcissistic stepmother and awful dishonest best friend they all had one thing in common that was they all took advantage of me when I was valuable and weak and had a nervous breakdown in which they see this coming in which they had set up their own trap for me! But unfortunately for me I never saw this coming they took advantage of me with my bank account and my storage unit which one of them had set up for me unaware that he was using it for his own Greed and wants! And pretending to be a Christian and a catholic bah! A bad catholic who will be judged by what he has done to me if he hasn't confess to a priest about what he has done to me! May God have mercy on his Deceitful soul and God forgive him and his disfunctional friend my ex-boyfriend's stepmother who Pretended to be a Christian but used my trust in which to take advantage of me and betrayed me by helping her self to my own bank account! And for me had I known that I was dealing with dishonest people like this would I had left sooner than what I did? Well I don't know! No contact is what I had decided to do with my own problems with dishonest people who seek victims like me and you their pride and ego and selfishness is something that no one should have to deal with! Honestly is the best Policy regarding friendship real friendship requires honesty and integrity and truth narcissists will never acknowledge their part in this disfunctional relationship with someone who wanted a honest person who really loved them and in the end decided to end this falsified dishonest friendship with that got their life back around but with a price: losing their own money and then their own stuff like with me!
