You didn't catch Clemenza (young from part 2) in this movie. Nobody has caught it. And if they're doing a react channel you have to have seen the first two Godfather movies. Can anyone recognize the young Clemenza from Godfsther 2 in this movie?

I'm surprised no one has beaten me to this yet, but just fyi--the lady who says "I'll have what she's having" is Rob Reiner's mother. The scene was filmed in Katz's Deli in Manhattan and they have a big sign pointing to the table where Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal were sitting. (Go early to beat the other tourists)

It's because it's not true and really everyone who passes along this "fact" is in a cabal trying to convince enough people about it, and when we do we will rule the earth with an iron fist and declare Rob Reiner's mom out Queen Eternius and dedicate our society to living as she would have wanted. That's the reason. @@MrPorko2c

As much as people talk about the diner scene (and justifiably), my favorite part of this is the old couples doing the interviews throughout the movie. Also for a channel called Awesome US Movies, you NEED to watch Casablanca. It's been on several lists of the best films of all time and features great acting, lighting and dialogue. It's been quoted or referenced in dozens of other works. Unfortunately many people today write it off because it's "too old". But old classics are classics for a reason.

Your reactions were like watching it again with a friend. You are pure joy. This was such a beautiful display of the differences between men and women. When they slept together, Harry was afraid that he would lose their friendship and he wanted it back the way it was. Sally was willing to go along with the new phase in their relationship. Harry pretending that night didn't happen brought shame and hurt in Sally.

I kept some blank space on my video tape before my recording of Sleepless, and when one of those movies came up on TV, I'd record the scenes referenced. I did that in the 90s and I still have those recordings around here somewhere... 😊

In the Deli scene, director Rob Reiner decided he wanted her to do that, and he sat there and acted out exactly what he wanted her to do. 😂😂😂 Imagine how hilarious THAT was! And in front of his mother too. The lady who said "I'll have what she's having" is his mom. OMG James! That had to be HILARIOUS.

Fun fact: the old people throughout the movie are real stories played by actors, for fluidity, I guess... Fun fact 2: When Billy Crystal talk in a funny voice, he did it for fun, it was not in the script. Fun fact 3: The fake orgasm was not in the script either, Meg Ryan just went for it for fun, and it stayed in the movie... And became one of the most iconic scenes, too. Super great movie! Classic!!!

There is a sign above the table that reads "where Harry met Sally" even though that isn't where they met. Now when it comes to romcons.a very underappreciated one is Blast from the Past with Brendan Frasier, Alicia Silverstone, Sissy Spacek and Christopher Walken about a man who lived most of his life in a fallout shelter only to be released into modern world which is much different from the way he was raised with his 1960's parents way of teaching him about life which doesn't meld well with the way it is when he finally goes up.

Originally they didn't plan to have a happy ending. Rob Reiner said a lot of himself went into Harry and he'd personally been single for a decade and he was very cynical about love as a result. But during filming he was introduced to a woman called Michelle who he fell head over heels for and as a result he believed in romance again so they changed the ending. Rob married her in 1989, the year the film was released and they've been together ever since.
