Brought back memories of when my brother was in the Air Force and would come home on leave. He brought me and our youngest sister kimono's from Japan we loved them and it was always a surprise for us when he would get home. He's in heaven with the good Lord now and miss him so very much 💙

My brother actually recently came back from the marines. He only finished basic training so he had to go back. He left yesterday and is going to be gone until next Christmas. I can only imagine how good it will feel to see him once again.

No matter how long it has been, seeing them again always fills you with joy. That is how I felt when I saw my husband again after basic training this summer. Now counting down the days when I can see him again. Hope you and your family are doing okay, it is hard being away from someone you love and care about. Sending love and prayers to you, your family and your brother.

Try doing it without the tech of today. Those days were tough. When overseas I had 1 phone call a month if I wanted to pay the 30 plus dollars for 3 min. I made about 240 a month. I called once. Could only wish we had it as tough as today. That’s just the way it is, life’s tough.
