This is hilarious! I don't understand much Spanish but I can relate. In my family it was my mother that helped with homework. God forbid if I got a math problem wrong! My mom pulled the belt out too, and I cried a river of tears. If I tore the paper while erasing my mistake, forget about it, it's a wrap, over! I'm African American, watching your videos makes me think of the saying I used to hear when I was little, "Puerto Ricans and Blacks are related, we're first cousins!" ROFL, even down to the Vicks! Ugh the memories hit me hard with this one lol My mom would work till late so she would check my homework in the morning and if I had anything wrong, had bad handwriting, or if I crumpled it from trying to dodge the belt or even if my tears fell on that paper, there would be consequences.
