This is just my opinion, but the tutor that the mom found seemed like a terrible choice. She was asked and offered money for the job and accepted it, yet still went off about how she didn't want to be there. The fact that she said she only teaches gifted kids and students that are in the top 3 just shows that she probably isn't really great at tutoring, since she can only handle and teach students that are already smart and are fine on their own.
