I remember my first girlfriend got me a uke as a surprise present after I'd mentioned it in passing. I nearly cried. I got to play some chords and my own compositions but never really got good but enjoyed it. We were listening to When I'm Cleaning Windows the first time we made love. I married her. Still together. Still happy.

Oh, Peter was a hell of artist, performer and a man! His impersonifications were something else! He was able to speak by phone exactly like the person who he wanted to imitate because it was soo perfectly done! He has had his probs but the he has that special class as an artist he held it was from the highest shelves! I am still giggling watching "The Party" or "Inspector Clouseau"...Rest in Peace, Dear Peter! You're so badly missed nowadays at this silly and cowardly up-side-down thrown world!

George Formby and Peter Sellers is quite a combination! It's too bad more folks don't appreciate what a brilliant actor he is, and it's unfortunate he had a troubled life. At least we still can see his movies today, though I'll always wish there were more. Cheers for this!

+juv7 Yes but he could be nasty, only left his kids £700 each the rest went to his 4th wife Lynn Fredrick, an alcoholic who died young, she remarried and the money went to her daughter, no relation to Peter at all, Peter did have heart problems, was one of the first to get a pacemaker back in 1964, but too many drugs in the 60/70 let him with a very weak heart, he was booked in for a bypass but died a week before the operation, sad but true..
