I am 53years old mother. I didn't bring my children to life for them to take care of me when I get old. Children are the responsibility of parents not vice versa. Your spouse should always be your first priority child. Your parents will die. Children will move out for education but your spouse will always be there with you. Plan your life with them. Find friends along the way. Stay happy

@@dhruvgarg1624 I am from India here divorce rate is only 1%. Even if it goes up I want both my sons and daughters to always be positive and get into a good relationship. If we bring divorce even before getting married it is going to affect the relationship. Be a good person, you will find a good person. If you don't for the first time, you will find someone better in the second time. Parents job is to make the kids grow up into beautiful individuals and then let them be on their own. We want you to find a good partner, have children and start your own family. The family you create is much more important than the family you come from.

If you go into a relationship already thinking about the worst then it can't be helped. Even if you get cheated on for once or twice you will find the right person for you eventually if you have the will to find them. Never give up on love. Your soulmate is the most important person out there that ever is! No amount of parents, friends or relatives will fill that void

You may not know but referring adults living in a retirement community as old is disrespectful in America. “Old” has a negative connotation. You are basically stereotyping all of them as not working and doing boring activities. You are assuming that you are better and more productive. You should try harder to learn about America and learn our culture. How many people do you see walking around in very tight bright red shirts with their hair sticking up? Do you see a lot of men wearing bracelets?
