A professional in US starting at $70K annual package and growing at an average of 15% annual will earn around $1.4 million gross (before tax) after 10 years. A professional in India starting at 8 lakh per annum and growing at 15% annual will earn around Rs. 1.6 Cr after 10 years. It is common in India in big cities buying properties of 1.5 to 2 Cr after 10 years of work in India, so buying house of $1M after after 7-10 years of work should be not a very big deal imo.

It's great. They can go and do business anywhere but as soon as tribal do business in mainland India. They attack them, destroy their restaurants and stores. A lot of NE were selling momos and the government banned it calling it unhealthy. The banks also do their best to take tribal money but never give them credit. The same way you like to do business in India and the rest of the world you should also let others do business, at least in their own land. Narcissistic view of 'me' 'me' gotta end.

Furnitures staging companies se liya jaataa hai. The selling agent works with staging companies jo fancy furnitures/chandelliars etc. etc. showing days ke liye rakh dete hain to spruce up the value of the home. Yeh ek selling strategy hoti hai. Isiliye aap jab ghar kharidne jaate ho always ask the selling agent whether the fixtures/appliances are included in the price. And TAKE the photos of the same for records.

Yes its laughable that quality of living is so high and poor in India. You can't even get that kind of home for lot of money here. It's very difficult to find people who can build beautiful home in India.

So, buying a land and then building a lavish home from scratch, also takes around a million in India, apartment generally takes 1 crore, and you don't have a terrace and your own ground/ balcony and all that... I think in India due to population things are gonna be more costly in a decade
