Then some wooden topology. A piece of wood, if it has some fine cuts made in it, becomes extremely bendy, and allows you to do things with wooden pieces that you might not have thought possible.
Then a smart box with something fishy inside...

That soap on a rope is actually from Lisbon, Portugal, where I’m currently living, during the Santo Antonio festivities, the local all saints festivities and St. Anthony is the Patron of Lisbon, sardines are a huge deal here and you’ll get sardine inspired anything and of course on every corner someone’s grilling sardines. I happen to hate sardines and can’t stand the smell of Lisbon on those days 😂

Nice, all the letters in the word "COOKIE" are mirrored horizontally and the letters conforming "WHAT A" are all mirrored vertically so putting a mirror depending on the orientation will not change how they look because they're the same flipped, I never thought of that

Tim that lock is a Metal Joe transformer from the company Bandai. There's a small series of them. I've never had one myself but as a collector of transformers I'd like to have a set. Maybe you should hunt down the others for your collection and do a feature of them?

I never thought about the implications of some letters of the alphabet looking the same if mirrored in the middle but someone sure figured out that by this logic you can put them in a mirror depending the placement and make a word that looks the same mirrored, that's so neat

That lock would habe been a great hit in the 80’s when the Transformers were new. That hinge is nice. I already knew those were made of aluminium as an extension joint when the axels are not perpendicular, but you can use wood too. Needs thin saw blade and steady hand.

The mirror trick at 3:00, it is basically the orientation of the letters. Some letters flip for horizontal mirroring while some flip for vertical mirroring. It's nothing to do with color.

I love the mirror trick basically is highly based on the letter if the letter is essentially the same in 2 directions reversing it basically would do nothing for example from top and bottom cookie will always say cookies and what a will stay the same from left to right
