MashaAllah. I was looking for the answers. Sometimes, if someone hurts, then sharing the feelings with close ones helps to overcome the pain, and also helps to get a new perspective of other people's feelings as well.

Summary: Backbiting/Ghibah is mentioning a fact disliked a person behind his back. It is always HARAAM, EXCEPT WHEN: 1) Zulm/Injustice was done to you 2) Not a private sin and there is a general maslahah for the ummah 3) Requesting personal advice about business, marriage, etc Grey areas: 4) Telling what people did to you. In this case, it depends on the intention/niyyah. If it is for reconciliation/sulh, then it is not ghibah/backbiting

very very important words..

In the example of the sister talking to her best friend about what her husband did, what if the niyyah is to simply express her emotions/ work through her thoughts? This often seems to be the case, it isn't directly for advice, neither is it to name and shame the other, it is to talk through one's emotions. In such an instance, I think the eventual niyyah is to work through the issue, so maybe it is for advice... In any case, it seems against some people's very nature to not talk through their emotions about what happened to them, so some may find the position that they cannot do so very hard to follow. JazakAllah khair for shedding some light on this, Shaykh.

Assalam Shaik ! Eid Mubarak ! Have a question, I watched a clip of evil hand gestures relating to satanic symbols, in this clip there were few gestures made by you, which matches them, does satanic hand gestures have any vale in Islam ?
@symbiotezilla123455 жыл бұрын
I don’t think the sheikhs aware of them considering there’s quite a few that you would need to actually seek out and study like you did. But as long as the niyaa/intention is not to do it to imitate them or knowingly doing it.

What if u tell person Y that person X backbitten about person Y, is that considered backbiting as well?
@ArdoBlueMoon4 жыл бұрын
I think that again depends on your intention and the circumstances. Are you seeking redress on behalf of person Y, because they lack confidence? Or are you spreading gossip?
