Nicely done. Nice images. The tree should have been firewood years ago. Man placed the lamp post and man is allowed to remove the lamp post.

If a photograph is to be used as legal evidence then any tampering renders it mostly useless. Otherwise, do whatever you want with it.

Bear Lake photo… if you were a painter and painted that scene witout the tree no one would give a s….. As a landscape photographer I think you are entitled to the same ‘artistic freedom’ If it were a documentary photograph…. You just don’t touch anything! In landscape photography using a graduated ND filter or enhancing the light are the same thing. Just do it if the photo is better that way. Your photo, your call… I like it

Thank you, and I appreciate this subject is very much open to interpretation! Definitely agree with the documentary photographer point as well, cheers for watching and commenting

I would've done the exact same thing.

I have two comments: first my opinions stop at the end of my nose and the beginning of yours. You are the artist. Do what pleases you. Second, long exposure photography with a 10 stop neutral density filter often does not record people who are moving.

Absolutely correct, and something perhaps I should explore next time, although in many of these places we visited (not limited to those in the video) there are always people just sitting around, like the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, but I appreciate your point 100%! Thanks for watching

On the Bear Lake photo it looks better with the tree removed.

Thank you, I think so, it opens up the view to the rest of the lake. Thanks for watching!

I hope no one does give you grief. Photography is a personal thing. There are no rules, if it gets you the result you are looking for then it is the right way to take/edit your work

To be fair, no one has yet, but I agree with you. Thanks for the comment

It is YOUR photo, do what you want.

Removing people from pictures has been a common practice since the Stalin regime in the USSR.

Mine, I'd like to think, is slightly less political! :) Thanks for watching....
