Hey clay, me and my ex been apart since January 1st. She left me for another man. I am finally feeling like I'm starting to see some lead way. You are right about one thing he's the complete opposite of me. I can tell that she still cares and has feelings for me. I love to make my family whole again and I miss my best friend. Few weeks ago we went out to breakfast he told me she missed this where she could just be herself. Also told her about this girl I was talking too. She also told me that I treated better than this guy that she could see the changes in me. I was dropping off where she was staying with this guy then goes on to tell me she didn't want to be there anymore and I can see that she was breaking down. But then her phone starts ringing it was him she told me I had to go and thank me for everything that day she said she really needed that. On my drive home even I start to break down and cry. Then the next day we talk she told me she thinks we would be better as friends. That we get along better then we did before. She want on to also say she doesn't know what the future holds she's not saying that she would never get back with me but she doesn't want me waiting around. I say about a week goes by and she's texting me again the most we did talk about was our kids and stuff but, I brought up how I'm having doubts about dating again with her about this one girl how I feel like I still can't open up or give myself fully again. Then she wrote me this heartfelt text that I should give this other girl a chance. Then she also wrote she knows we both have our faults for me to stop looking at myself like that, that it was her fault not mine, that I'm a good person with a good heart. We were supposed to meet up again if her boyfriend was working but that didn't happen. It was supposed to be Friday. I guess my real question is Clay I've been thinking about calling it off with the new girl and continuing to try to get my ex back. From what you have heard do you think I should try or just move on? Please I can use a little guidance. We were together for over a decade

H clay! My ex & I have been broken up for 8 months now. We’ve talked on & off but he keeps saying it’s taking him longer to heal from the breakup. Last night we hung out & had a great night, we both said it felt amazing like old times. He told me he doesn’t wanna come back until he’s 100% ready because he doesn’t want us to fail again. He told me he just needs some more time to think. He said he sees a future for us but he’s no ready & needs to think. What does this mean for us? Should I give him space in hopes he’ll come back?

He’s seeing someone else and keeping you on the hook. When you want to be with someone you know it and you want to be with them, you’re not going to “wait” what are you waiting for?? He knows you want him and he’s using it to keep you there. Cut him off and go heal you deserve better than to get played and used.

@@Luisyo2751 yeah it’s an awful time. One day is worst than the other. Me and my ex wife were 12 years together and we have a child. We had a good life. And when i didn’t saw it coming she said i don’t want this anymore. I want a break because i don’t know if i want to stay married. I begged her . I was trying to convince her here in our home. But it ended up in a no contact break where i left the house and moved to my parents for a while. With the idea to give her some pace to think. With the hope that she maybe she would mis me. But this was not the case. When i came back the divorce was a fact. She even seeing someone else. She wanted me to leave the house again. But i said no. I don’t give you want to want anymore. The most difficult part is that she seeing someone else and i’m not . She’s happy and living the life and i’m not. I’m sitting on the couch being destroyed. . But still we’re living in the same house with our daughter. Very stressful en painful. She stay here until she find her own place. And than i have to buy her out. Until than i’m in this awful situation with allot of pain

Can that negative imagery change, I showed very impulsive unattractive behaivor and emotional immaturity. But more towards how passionate and how much I tried to show I cared.. I messed up by stalking trying to confirm if she was done giving her ultimatums.. holding on to hope. I have always been faithful and always put her first

It's it odd how many of us show love, commitment and take care of them. It feels as if we are living in an upside down world. If you know the connection you have with your girl, I am sure her image of you in her head will be restored if you lay low. They cannot erase the beautiful memories. They need to start missing us for them realize

But thank you that means a lot, it’s hard to even talk to certain people about it because they just make you feel uncomfortable or not validated in any sense. I really do hope absence makes the heart grow fonder. I know I tried my hardest to show her that I love her unconditionally and that I would always rise up to any obstacle we faced. I miss her so much.

@@michaelg4044 Yea, the good old days when cartoons where original right. I know what you mean, my girl should also know I will do anything for her. Now she needs to find her peace in order to embrace that. Follow your own guts. I think deep down we know if our girls feels the same about us as we do about them, and that's worth fighting for. In the meantime we need to keep on working on ourself so we stand strong when they reach out to tell us they want to he with us.
