Couldn’t agree more on the pedalboard stuff, we’ve switched to Line 6 Pod go, all sounds programmed for songs in set, one lead from unit to amp, straight in no kissin’ more pedals more problems 🤟🏻🍺

I've not done many gigs, but I do remember hiring an amp for one, and being completely unable to use the thing. The rehearsal rooms we used at the time had JCM900 head/speaker set ups which I could get a nice noise from, buy I hired the combo version which turned out to have completely different controls. Not being remotely experienced I didn't exactly take that one in my stride! Another one I'd written a fairly intricate riff for and just as I was playing it the singer decided to swing her mic stand round right into me, managed to hit the strings with it and it went "wilddly wilddly kronk krang". I played the rest of that song facing the drummer.

When the support uses your amp as a launching platform for a stage jump and the amp and cab collapse on top of each other and don't work when you fire up the first chord... #tunnelsinaberdeen "These things happen", as my friend Bob would have said if he was still here...

I recall on the Nov 23 tour you had a issue for a couple of gigs with the guitars cutting out and the culprit was differing batteries within the wireless packs; who would of thought?! Something so basic that could of easily been missed!😦
