I’ve been 5 days clean due same reason, I wouldn’t want to eat without smoking or start my day, if I didn’t smoke in 24 hours I would get horrible anxiety attack, nauseas shivers and I would feel dead, the first day was hard, also the second, I tried weed due really hard times and emotional stuff coming on, the first weeks weed would help me a lot, I’m a music producer so I was able to make tons of beats, now it flipped over and I just quit weed for some day to get my tolerance low again, I’ll smoke micro doses(not everyday, maybe 2 times per week) , I’ll first do my stuff and at the end of the day just relax with a small amount of weed, this plant is amazing and has lots of benefits when u use it correctly, we all abused the weed and thought we would get away, this plant it’s just to enjoy, not made for the daily basis.

When you have anxiety attacks then why you dont smoke tobacco instead yeah its bad but it calms you down and stops anxiety for a bit. Smoking cigs is bad and the psychological withdrawals are hard but not the physical and i mean its better to be a smoker than a stoner

for everyone that's struggling with stopping smoking i have a solution you can try. i thought id never be able to stop or even stop smoking as much, but what i did was start smoking later and later in the day as time passes. so lets say if you always smoke from the moment you wake up, try waiting an hour before you smoke for a couple weeks. then push it to 2 hours for a couple weeks and keep going until it reaches night when you have your first smoke. it really helped me☺️

Underrated comment; I follow a weedtuber that recommends this for fixing tolerance. I also believe that's helpful for quitting altogether. Itwon't be so miserable since your body still gets some of what it's used to having to function; and you start to learn other ways of coping when you have to wait to smoke.

Sounds like a pretty solid idea, easier than the way I did. I completely stopped smoking and just took 1/2 an edible a hour before bedtime to help me through the rough sleep. I think I’ll do this for a week or 2 switch to CBD edible for a week and then drop it all.

I felt that weed was curing depression and saving me from sad day, but its actually not, its just a quick getaway from reality and you will have distorted reality until its too late to fix it. Im not saying weed is bad, but it definitely effects you in a longer period of time. Ive seen so many friends wake and bake and smoke all day and haven’t improved their life and just rolling a another joint or blunt for decades or even more.

It feels good seeing other people in the comments going through the same problems as myself. The youtube algorithm never gave me this, till the last moment of me giving up on everything. I know I have trauma and depression I've been needing to deal with, and every time I think about it, I get overwhelmed and resort to smoking as an instinct to make myself feel like everything's good and okay. I've stunted my self growth and the relationships with people around me, including my significant other. I'm at the the edge of almost losing my relationship because of my anger and outbursts, because when I get into arguments while high, it's easier for my to dismiss, get angry at the things around me. For everyone going through the same struggle, I hope you make it.

Hey my friend, how are you doing now? At least it seems you are aware of yourself and your actions in relation of the substance. Now that I’m older, I appreciate how it helps with PTSD symptoms and helps me gain appetite and sleep through the night. Plus, I’m the type to know when it’s time to relax, and when it’s time to get off my butt and put in work. I reserve my smoking time to for relaxing, so it feels like I deserved it. Happened to me a few stages of life that I began developing that very same nausea, my existence becomes me dry heaving without external stimulus eating nothing but monster energy and adderall... that is when even my ego can not justify the addiction and I take a break for as long as I need to to get well. I have an addictive personality so I never stop when I get to the point of smoking just to smoke, I always take it too far and develop the dry heaving again. The thing is I always take a break for months or years. I think this is as close to a healthy relationship with the smoke as I can get at this time in my life rn

@@jaggarowen-nh7lk Hello my friend. I'm currently 10 months into being completely weed free. I've learned so much about myself than I ever thought possible in the process, and it was absolutely worth the struggle of quitting. For context, I started smoking everyday at like 19 years old and quit at 31. I often look back at my 20s with regret: don't get me wrong, it was amazing for the first few years, smoking with friends and family, connecting with myself creatively through music, and everything else about it. But overtime, the weed use becomes something sad, something far removed from the beautiful memories from when we started smoking. The last 5-6 years of me smoking was mostly just trying to recreate old times, or avoid discomfort in my life. I wish for a better outcome for you in this regard, as you're still quite young my friend. I will say, if you have ever had the thought of "I think maybe I should take a break/quit, I really have no idea what life would be like without it", or if you're unsure about who you would be on the other side, then you and I are very similar, and I would 100% encourage you to try a break/quitting. That "unknown" that exists on the other end of weed dependence is where the good stuff is, I promise; where you'll really get to know your most authentic self, and gain a deep and very genuine appreciation for being alive. It's a bit scary at first, even painful at first, but you'll thank yourself for facing it in your 20s, rather than having to deal with it in your 30s

You so right I’ve been wanting to for a while now. I’m speaking for weed and tobacco mixed together. Weed alone is easy for me to quit. But the headrush I get from mixing weed and tobacco together is like nothing else. Just been trying to figure out what I can substitute my time with that is equally as stimulating

Weed is one of the most insidious drugs ever! I stopped edibles because I am losing too much weight and I feel horrible. This is day 4 and it sucks. It will get better with time. This much I know.

Weed is a herb, not a drug. Sugar is a drug, we're all addicted to it. It's more harmful than weed too. Drinking is a drug too, alot more harmful.

Weed is not inherently sinister or bad. It all depends on the intention of usage and frequency. Just because you were addicted and abused the ever living shit out of it doesn't mean everyone else does as well. There are many people that do it only a few times a month and are happier than without it

@@blackscoped I’ve started to get Really bad anxiety as everything overwhelms me. Can’t stop thinking about everything I’ve done, doing, and need to do. Everything that stresses me out jumps out at once even louder when I’m high. It used to be the other way around, the only way I could silence my head and focus was when I was stoned but now it’s the complete opposite. It’s been addiction for awhile now. I’ve just been in denial

So true! I had never fully stop smoking but i do take breaks when i start feeling that smoking is more like something “ i had to do just do it” no bc i want to smoke. Usually happens after a few weeks of smoking every day and taking a week of two out of it works everytime for me. I don’t smoke on days i have a lot of things to do either, it’s more like a gift to myself every couple of days

Facts smoking out of habit is what made me stop, I couldn’t smoke for a couple days because of teeth work and I decided to keep it up. It made me realize I wasn’t smoking for enjoyment anymore it was just part of the routine. 10 days sober now and feeling better than ever. Remember it’s an occasional thing not an everyday thing

This is so true. My body just tells me when to quit. For me, it's not a big event. I just wouldn't feel like smoking. But, it's super random. Some people get it bad though.

I'm a medical patient for ptsd. I know this short probably isn't directed at med patients but just to say. I've been smoking weed all day everyday for like 5 or 6 years straight and I have never had any bad side effects other than maybe forgetting I put something in the microwave or taking a nap when I had shit to do. Its possible to have a healthy relationship with weed as a daily smoker.

I've smoked daily for around 38 years and I love it more and more everyday. Especially with this stuff they have today. We didn't have that back in the 80s. It was descent smoke, but nothing like today. The really good was around, but you'd pay big time gor it and it was very hard to find. I've quit here and there over the years just to get a job or something like that, but once that test was over it was back to it. I do know that it makes you forget your dreams, but during that off time I have the most horrific nightmares. The nightmares are ALWAYS apocalyptic like the world is ending.
