My brain has been making this video for like 14 years. Felt very good to hear someone finally appreciate one of the most underrated heel runs ever.

Antichrist is my 2nd fav version of him, 2002-2003 solo Jeff will forever be my number one favorite, then TNA 2004-2005, WWE 2006-2009, 1999-2000 and 2012-2013 Tna

my second fav Jeff Hardy era besides his early 2000s TNA run dope video🔥

A necessary evil. To watch Jeff go from The top of his game to the ultimate heel and after he leaned into it even more after the Anderson chair shot. Took it to the limit. Just sad how it ended in 2011. That run from 2007-2011 is something to be studied. He actually hit every aspect of what a wrestler can be. On both sides.

Agreed, the idea was amazing and Jeff clearly made the heel character work but TNA/Russo has no idea what he was doing

Wait. Russo was still in TNA at the time? How am I learning this just now?

There was more to the NJPW/TNA split than that match. The last straw was a young lion sent to TNA on an excursion after doing extensive training with the sole purpose to gain experience before heading back to NJPW. The idiots that be the TNA writing team decided to give this young lion a gimmick of “Okato” based off Kato from the green hornet. That young lion went on to be considered one of the greatest wrestlers still active today by the name of Kazuchika Okada.

This run was very very middle of the road going down. Jeff wasn’t a great promo (appreciate Raven for trying to coach him), he was at the height of his drug addiction, and he really didn’t have any credible babyfaces to work with. This was due to the group he was in having 60% of the big names known for TNA in the group. Also someone did the Antichrist of Pro Wrestling gimmick better than he did: his name is Kevin Steen.

Hardy was free and having fun. Drugs alcohol whatever he was out of it .this was an amazing run of jeff hardy even tho it ended in disaster. The resurected run was cool to but heel hardy for the 2010 era was epic

Jeff should have absolutely been fired after Victory Road but a wise man once said 😉 (pretty sure at least) "companies kept giving him chances because he was Jeff Hardy" and I think that's spot on. He's incredibly lucky that he's made such an impression on the fans or he would be much more disposable. Loved the vid Garf

I’m a massive fan of this era. This was the only time in history that Jeff had good promos. I know he was going thru a weird time but it made the character. He was so fucking evil lol. Honestly my favorite era from Jeff.

I get what you're saying about Jeff getting better at promos but I personally would have chose a different comparison than Roman. Also, I haven't made it all the way through the vid yet so not sure if this pertains to anything, but I've got another video idea: your journey as a fan. I'm talking when you first got into wrestling, who your early favorites were, what you connected with, how you grew as a fan etc.

@arunsingla34523 ай бұрын
Jeff hardy didn’t help himself during that run as well with his constantly appearing on tna in no shape to wrestle. People talk about victory road incident but completely forget that Jeff hardy did in he same thing in December 2010
@unfixingbowl54543 ай бұрын
The heel turn itself was amazing. They could’ve milked this for years. But the execution of the storyline left a lot to be desired, and with Hardy’s problems it was definitely a flop.

jeffs issue was that he did too many high risk maneuvers and resulted in a pain killer and general drug addiction. If he went easier on his body, he'd have been top 3
