losing his sharingan may have removed some hacks abilities from his kit but it did give him the added benefit of now having higher degree of chakra pool with which he could use now to fully make use of all 1000+ ninjutsu he copied over the years plus he even invented new jutsu of his own to compensate for his loss of his signature move the chidori jutsu which are incredibly powerful an just highlights just how far he had went to make himself a geniune ninja and respected hokage. so if anything i think kishimoto did a huge favor by removing that sharingan handicap and people gotta remember that his own dad even who wasn't an uchiha or anything like that or had insane powers was so skilled and talented he rivaled the legendary sannin so its just shows the apple didn't fall too far from the tree kakashi without sharingan more than proved himself a worthy and strong ninja.

The thing A LOT of people forget is that you can't just use a dojutsu that isn't yours. If your DNA profile DOES NOT match the owner's, it works at 50% less efficiency and it's a constant power drain because you CAN'T turn it off.
