It’s not a threat, but it’s manipulation. That’s basically saying “you know you’ll feel bad later when your mom’s in jail, once all this calms down”. That’s a typical thing for someone to say to try and cover up abuse, and unrest in a home. They’re basically making him feel guilty for having enough of their nonsense.

I'm m so pissed off that this officer allowed that woman in to the room to question and intimidate Eric. If they want the full story and for him to be honest because they're actually concerned, THEN STOP ALLOWING THEM TO ENTER THE CONVERSATION. They kept allowing those women to enter and threaten him in his own room Infront of the cops. He is unsafe and uncomfortable but they keep allowing them to enter the conversation! That kept pissing me off to extreme amounts. Then that random woman said "let's go for a ride" aka "let's go somewhere private that I have control over you in a small space." He needs to be out of that house with all of those women! And when the officer told the mother that it was him that reported her, HOW DUMB ARE SOME OF THESE OFFICERS!

Watching the second was like walking into my childhood home. For the first 19 years of my life, my abuser was the person who birth me. I was raised by my grandmother. I saw my abuser in Eric's mother. The immaturity, the victimization, the arrogance. I've lived through this same scenerio but never got justice. I called the pigs on her 4 times, and all 4 times were a waste of energy. See, my abuser was really good friends with the town pig deptartment so every time they showed up, they would just shoot the shit with my abuser. I'm so happy that monster was taken away from the house. I hope Eric finds a way to escape like I did. I hope that he heals, propers, and finds the safety and happiness he deserves. not sure tbh, a lot of the questions are leading questions "did she hit you" "did she threaten you", very easy to just say "yes" to and incriminate her............personally, i believe that the questions should be far more open like "what exactly did she do/say" etc. i feel a lot of kids will take the easy way and just agree to the answer provided to them rather having to explain something in their own words and for that reason i am not sure if i feel bad for them. sure its a bad atmosphere when the parent is smashing shit up but we dont REALLY know the circumstances. i am specifically talking about the 2nd video here

Watching these sometimes makes me thinking about bringing back "ladies school". My country used to have that back in 1930-60's, my dad said. He was born in 1941. The school didn't teach what public school teach. Rather it's teaching girls how to be a woman. And no, it's not discriminating them. They were taught some hard skills too. They can run their own certification class, language lessons, etc. But the most important thing is, they teach girls how to be a woman.
