Tbh i really like the fight, especially with hammer. He can be really annoying tho like he was here. 15 minutes of the fight was him flying around.

He's really not that bad, on release it was awful because the framerate tanked. Rise also has probably the most fun kushala to fight and probably the most unfun teostra fight.

World monsters are somewhat more agreeable and more enjoyable in terms of fights Lunastra in world is a pain though I had to cheese her with my Safi LBG sticky build

Rusted Kushala was the most enjoyable old-gen Kushala Daora, cuz he had additional terrestrial attacks which is a good thing Then there is Rise Kusha who was a perfect mix between being terrestrial and having new cool aerial attacks without being frustrating And Risen Kushala Daora just took this fight and made it even more satisfying. With so many new badass attacks. Personally, this is my favorite Kusha

@@maxwellxdhaha I was a LS main in MHW (now I’m more a CB main) but I would always use Hammer against Kushala Daora… or just avoid him outright In Rise however; he’s good with every weapon I main (even the Risen version)

@@nono-hy7gb Ah man, I hated Teo’s theme. Way too bombastic, lost that cool middle eastern flair, like Teo is the proud sultan of the desert you’re not allowed to stand in the presence of. Very happy with Rise’s version of the theme. That said, world did have the best Rajang theme

@@Lator_Gator fax. people made this same argument about World Teostra too, but it’s like… the game isn’t all about masochism, sometimes it’s ok for a monster to be fun, even if they’re toned down a bit. plus, Risen Kush is way harder, while retaining what made Rise Kush fun.

Man, I just got to HR30 in Rise last night and I have to fight this jerk. Time to make sure I've got Windproof. I've gone back and played the first gen, second gen, and fourth gen games but haven't hunted Kushala in gen 2 or gen 4 yet. I've only hunted him in World and remember the hunt being very unfun.

I remember Rise Kushala to be quite enjoyable. Altough i stopped playing the game before Risen Kushala came out, so cant comment on that. But what i remember is how horrible World Kushala was. And AT Kushala is basicly just a crime against humanity. I wouldn't even say normal World Kushala was really difficult or something. I would say Lunastra was more difficult. But it was just sooooo annoying and also boring.

No the smoke is just him being in rage. Just hit his legs and belly and play carefully, dont get too greedy. Using a thunder weapon should make him very easy.

Plesioth dorsal back fin and facial fin will lower when it is dying/captureable (hp below 25%)

If you fought him in the older games pre MHW.... There was no easy way to get windproof on any armor set from what I saw in Freedom Unite when I last played it. And if you don't have poison you will have to try and break his head. And the wind pressure denies that sometimes lol
