Whether or not people believe it, I said that Dell Curry was Lavar before Lavar Ball. He definitely had an influence in what teams drafted Steph back in 2009. He wouldn't allow a small market team like OKC, Minnesota and Memphis to pick him. From what digging I could find, people thought Curry was better than Rubio and Flynn the moment Minnesota passed up on him, not in hindsight, and ppl think Minnesota made a dumb choice, but it was the same situation as Markelle Fultz and Lonzo. Lonzo wanted to be a Laker even if he was not No.1.
