At 7:30, the breaking of the ice sculpture was a set up, it was actually supposed to go a little longer but the ice artist told him right before they started filming that he only spent about 5 minutes on it and it was so bad that if it did not get broken very quickly everyone would be able to see it was no work of art. The station got so many calls hating on the reporter that they let everyone know it was a prank just minutes after it had happened. They had originally intended to let the story run for a full day, announcing the prank on the next days broadcast

Jennifer Lawrence should be embarrassed & even ashamed of herself for what she said to that journalist. Had she took a step back & really thought more before saying what she did to him she would've realized that she was jumping to conclusions when she told the journalist "you can't live your whole life behind your phone", had she THOUGHT first she would've realized that the conclusion she arrived at in her head actually made no sense at all for a few different reasons. One very good reason & a very obvious one, was that he wasn't some young kid. He was an adult who was there doing his job, so therefore him needing to use his phone meant it had something to do with his job.....& that's EXACTLY what was happening, he needed it due to the fact that English isn't his first language. But his age is also a big giveaway too since it's the younger generation (closer to HER age & younger) who have their noses stuck in their phones. PLUS it just wouldn't make any sense for a journalist who is there doing a job & is actually given an opening to ask a celebrity a question wouldn't be surfing the web WHILE asking a question! Which IS what she's insinuating. That is an unreasonable assumption of her to think he's looking at his phone for any other reason than he's using it as a notepad, just like past journalists who would use small notepads, now notepad apps in smartphones are used & no one ever told those journalists that they "can't live their whole life behind their notepads", OF COURSE NOT because that would be ridiculous. So I'm not understanding how she sees him asking her a question while referencing his phone brings her to the conclusion that his phone has nothing to do with his job of interviewing & asking her questions.....and then what? Watch a YT video as she's answering his questions???? What does she think he's using his phone for right then in front of her!!!! He also said he was nervous, so if you put it all together him using his phone as a tool for his job to help him ask questions that are understandable questions since his English isn't all that good AND he probably has the questions he wants to ask in it so that he won't forget them. If you put all that together along with where they are, what his profession is......I just don't see how she would come to any other conclusion than a journalists phone is the notepad of today.....THEN SHE DECIDES TO OUTRIGHT SCOLD HIM FOR USING HIS PHONE....WHICH THEN MAKES HIM EVEN MORE NERVOUS TO WHERE HE MISTAKENLY SAYS "Oscars" instead of the Golden Globes.....of which she feels the need to correct him AND THROWS IN ANOTHER JAB AT HIM ABOUT USING HIS PHONE!!! WTAF JENNIFER!!!! THINK BEFORE THE WORDS FALL OUT OF YOUR MOUTH because it's YOU who is looking like fool right now. Oh, and you OWE THAT MAN AN APOLOGY!!! (FYI: IF you feel the need to reply &/or send me a message PLEASE make peace with the fact that I do not read or even see them.
