Godzilla Boy I miss the old rule of allowing both A drivers to drive the same car in the enduros though. For me, it's the risk vs reward factor: good results, good points for them both. Bad result or a fencing: potential championship loss at the end of the year.

Ben Ward absolutely agree, it made for much more interesting racing as well because you didn’t have number 2 drivers essentially tip-toeing their way through their stints because they don’t want to put the car in the wall. Plus you get legendary pairings like Lowndes and Whincup

I think its better that the full time drivers cant pair up with eachother during the enduros. It keeps the rivalry going between garages, and adds a but more risk and game changing moments to championship leading cars with a few 'noobs' behind the wheel!

So Lowndes has 7 wins, all as lead driver, all in the car he started the race. If we take away Brock’s win when he comandeered the number 2 car and the win where he came third on track…. Craig is at least his equal with 7 wins and well worthy of the title “King of the Mountain”

up until and including 2008 team mates drove together in the enduros, Team Vodafone (formerly team Betta Electrical) have been a Ford team longer than a Holden team, they made the switch in 2010 due partly to financial reasons.
