Imagine if Grant Thomas had kept his ego in check and blight had coached that list filled with all those priority picks at st kilda

Phil Walsh died in the lead up to round 14 2015. the Adelaide-Geelong game was cancelled outright and the footage shown of Adelaide-West Coast was the next week, not the same week like you implied.

@@chasindigo It could have cost us a lot more than that. It would have almost certainly cost us Patrick Dangerfield's services from 2016 onwards if we hadn't done the right thing and split the points with the Crows. Surely the greed of taking the 4 points on offer and losing the services of Dangerfield for the rest of his career would have been much worse than bagging 4 cheap premiership points just to make a finals series where we were destined to get knocked out in the Elimination Final.

Blight did all the child football fantasies as a player. No one else has done all of them like him. Example goal after siren to win game. 100 goal kicker . Premiership player. It goes on and on.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m sure Blight was playing coach after jesaulenko so was the LAST playing coach.

I think Blighty gave up the coaching gig in 80 or 81, then just played that last season as a player only. Jessas last season as a playing coach was 81 too.

The media are invested in talking Grundy up to make Collingwood look bad. The same commentators who declared Grundy finished at the start of last year, had Collingwood winning last years premiership if he was available and Melbourne this year's favourites with his movement there.

Blight’s public spray on Pittman was unforgivable. His spray was unjustified, and his decision to throw a public tantrum at Pitman displayed an appalling lack of class. Blight had his good points, but his arrogant and angry striking out at a player who was not able to defend himself reflected very badly on him.
