What a fantastic interview, thoroughly enjoyed that just like i have enjoyed L42 music since 1979……..thank you Mr King👏

Brilliant! This all fits in so well with my own experience of being a down-to-earth part-time IOW resident. And I can think of quite a few IOWers who went a similar way. Mark continues to impress me because he has found a good way to avoid the pitfalls of his situation and the bloody industry, and still have his original heroes intact. i could have done these things a bit better myself, if I had allowed myself to do things a bit more his way.

I saw Mike Lindup play a couple of weeks ago, at the 606 Club in Chelsea. He was sitting-in with The Stacey Brothers and Royal Scammers-a brilliant 14-piece band playing Steely Dan. They introduced him, noting he was playing without rehearsal. You'd never have know.

What an interesting and insightful interview. Particularly in light of the fact that he's on the autism spectrum and says he has difficulty speaking in public. You wouldn't think it from listening to him here.

Brilliant interview. I remember my 1st gig being Level 42 at the Hexagon in Reading, they recorded that night, and used some or all of it on the live album Physical Presence. I was hooked. Been a fan since. By the way Mr. King. I'm free next year if you need any extra pairs of hands, as a stage hand. I'd do it for free if I could, but I got a mortgage 😂.
