When it gets scrappy, Selby is a great tactician and has a solid temperament

@@LimitedGunnerGM But many people forget that also Selby is a very good offensive player. He has made over 700 century breaks in official tournaments. He is only about 150 centuries behind Neil Robertson and Judd Trump which are known as very aggressive players.

Many people say Selby can only play tactical snooker and is good in snookers or escapes. Thats only half of the truth. Watch his statistics. He has made 724 century breaks in his career which is almost on the level of Neil Robertson and Judd Trump. 724 century breaks dont come from nowhere. And those who say that he is a slow player, so why they dont criticize John Higgns or Bingham. When you compare their average shot time they are not far from Selby. But i never see people complaining about their speed, only when Selby play's.

Because Selby landed some tough losses to Ronnie. And like in any other sport, when the goat loses, his groupies are loud and obnoxious. Just pay attention to such comments. They always come with "bUT RoNNie hAs WoN sEVen aND hE's MucH fASTer".

Selby is some player in the longest of matches because every time he's got to the 1 table he's beat them all.Yes I know he's depending on the others to lose rythem but it's worked because I think he's got to the 1 table 6 times a won the title 4 out of those times beating the greatest ever to do it and it's taken the same greatest ever to beat him in Higgins in 07 final and O'Sullivan in 2020 semi which shows his slow game works the longer a match is because in matches with less frames he's not won anywhere near as much but he's up there with Williams in an argument for the 5th best player I've ever seen.

Yea he took his chance. Safety shot would have been one option but then again Selby's safety shots are unmatchable so he would have got snookered. Great win by Selby and amazing pots done by Shaun Murphy using the rest
