Then add a dash of a viral video where a parent is trying to teach her toddler how to say "ice cream" and the kid keeps saying "kamtono!" instead. 3:17 The “Ghostbusters alright!” voice is dubbed (pretty poorly). When crowd scenes are filmed with principal dialogue, the background actors are actually miming their shouts. The set is quiet to pick up the dialogue, and random crowd audio is mixed in post. In this case the background actor’s face was so prominent that the audio department tried to dub a voice but you can see it really doesn’t match up. You’ll see this kind of audio mismatch in nearly every movie that has a crowd scene, but it’s particularly bad here.

The title is misleading. There are many scenes which were not ruined even though something unplanned happened and the scenes were intentionally kept. Many other scene can be considered ruined in some sense but what is happening is not very obvious and many if not most viewers will miss the ruining happening in the background. A scene can be considered completely ruined if the action is noticed by most viewers and is completely out of place in the context of the movie. But those kind of scenes rarely make it to the film as they are very very very likely noticed by the director or other people who participate in the making of the film at the moment when the scene is filmed and because of that fact can be filmed again to achieve the desired result of that scene.

Somehow the dude pulling down his friends pants is the most hilarious to me, like the guy got cast as an extra and couldn’t contain his high school humor 💀

The Bond sweeper is famous but absolutely not his fault. The sound was the problem hence the height of the broom - blame the Director ! In Batman - The Dark Knight Rises - That so called extra is a Stuntman - blame the stunts not Supporting Artists :)

1:00 How is this ruining the scene? If anything she saved the scene, bringing the chaos to what otherwise would look like scripted.

Extras sweeping without touching the surface they are meant to clean is done to prevent adding the resulting noises to the recording. A classic

I'm surprised that lady throwing her baby as the airplane crashes through the window wasn't scripted. That actually fits with the goofy style of the movie.

Nothing was completely ruined. In fact most of these things would not even get noticed but for being pointed out.

When I was a kid I used to watch 'The Wild Wild West' and noticed, not only in that show but in other shows where the hero has fights with multiple opponents, many of the bad guys in the fight are not actually doing anything. Some of them appear to be shadow boxing or something other than anything that contributes to the fight. Now, in any movie scene that involves a bunch of people doing something, I just think of it as visual clutter, intended to distract the viewer from noticing how many of the people in the scene are not needed.

From what I read some time ago, the kid in Back to the Future supposedly was doing a hand gesture to inform the staff he needed to use the restroom but the scene just came and went and used in the final cut.
@nothingtobeconcernedabout7477Ай бұрын
Some dogs like getting thrown into water and want it done repeatedly, nothing odd there. Also the kid in back to the future was doing that gesture to show the guys on set that he needs to go to the toilet, hence the motion. He didn't want to talk during the scene and just make a sign to alert them to it

in every movie with lots of destruction going on in a city, like an intersection, theres always one or two extras still running well after its started. like, they would literally have been safe already, but decided to head TOWARD the trouble.

I work as a film extra myself, and I wouldn't say the scenes were "ruined." We're doing our best, but sometimes, stuff happens, so please be kind.

Throwing a baby up in the air in a comedy film like Airplane DEFINITELY does anything but ruin the movie.

The Airplane! baby throw was intentional and a running joke. The same team made the Police Squad TV series in '82, which featured a baby toss in the opening credits of each episode.

The Mr. Nanny one was not a background extra. They used a camera car to drive in front of Hogan, as he drove his motorcycle behind. They didn't close down the road, and instead simply shot him "geurilla style" to look as natural as possible. The little boy from Back To The Future was signaling to his mother just off camera that he had to use the bathroom. He also TECHNICALLY isn't a background extra since he is considered to be part of the "family." Quantum of Dolace, yes, that was a sound choice and sound issue--but that should have been caught by the production "on-the-day" while still on the set. Could have been filmed in a way where they thought he would never be seen in the shot. Airplane, that's just part of the gag. Have you even seen the movie? Everything a must show, the kids were probably told to freeze in place or at the very least stay quiet. This was also a production blooper because people weren't paying attention on set.

6:43 Actor on the Left is married to JENNIFER CONNELLY in real life. Not only that, they both appeared in "A Beautiful Mind". Paul Bettany (actor's name) was John Nash's imaginary Roommate, while Jennifer Connelly was Nash's Wife.

The baby tossing might actually be a reference to to "Police Squad" also starring Leslie Nielsen, where a hilarious dramatic intro has everyone jumping out windows, running around on fire, and needlessly tossing a baby away from themselves, while the officer seems to fire randomly in response.
