0:55 The avengers scene honestly that extra you claimed "ruined" the scene was the only extra that was doing the right thing. Director says "run like your life depends on it." @@akiraic hahaha you're awfully confident and rude for being just another random nobody online, mate. This movie had a MASSIVE VFX budget. There's every chance that they took a look at the extras and said, 'jeez, they're really not running hard at all - we should at at least one more person to add more energy to the crowd's panic and fill the space more while we're at it.' It wouldn't be that hard, either as they have the real actors to base their lighting off as well. Evidence? Well the movement seems off to me - I'm no expert, but I am an athletics coach and part of my job is to watch people sprint all day... So I reckon my eye isn't bad either. Further, and more convincing to me, is the lady he runs past: he's close enough that it almost looks like he clips through her a bit, and even if he didn't, she has ZERO reaction to someone blasting past her at that pace from behind. But I guess if your argument is 'Nuh-uh! You're dumb!'... that's bulletproof!

I'd bet money that the extra was told to throw the baby in the scene in Airplane; it's totally on-brand for that movie. Then add a dash of a viral video where a parent is trying to teach her toddler how to say "ice cream" and the kid keeps saying "kamtono!" instead. Result: John Favreau used that same ice cream machine prop as a type of secure safe called a Kamtono in The Mandalorian.

3:17 The “Ghostbusters alright!” voice is dubbed (pretty poorly). When crowd scenes are filmed with principal dialogue, the background actors are actually miming their shouts. The set is quiet to pick up the dialogue, and random crowd audio is mixed in post. In this case the background actor’s face was so prominent that the audio department tried to dub a voice but you can see it really doesn’t match up. You’ll see this kind of audio mismatch in nearly every movie that has a crowd scene, but it’s particularly bad here.

Thank you! Everyone should be running. He's the only one with any sense.

There are multiple cameras used when shooting a movie, so it is entirely possible he was looking into one. I have worked on film sets where there are usually three cameras at all times: A master shot taking in the majority of the scene, and two cameras ("B and C") that do the closeups of actors, etc. Only in rare cases (as in a scene in a limo with two actors I actually slated a few takes of) is there only one camera involved.

Honestly, the guy pulling the pants down on his buddy during a crisis is incredibly realistic and human. Some people react to stress differently, and some people are so arrogant they don't believe anything bad can actually happen to them. I've seen so many videos of people who are recording things like avalanches and sometimes they're joking and making light of it until it gets REALLY close then it finally occurs to them that they are in actual danger and their tone completely shifts.

Depending on the audio recording technique, they might have asked the extras with brooms to only pretend to sweep the floor, but not actually touching the ground as the sound of the bristles could've been picked up by the microphone and ruined the audio

Some dogs like getting thrown into water and want it done repeatedly, nothing odd there. Also the kid in back to the future was doing that gesture to show the guys on set that he needs to go to the toilet, hence the motion. He didn't want to talk during the scene and just make a sign to alert them to it

Nice touch with Stormtrooper bumping the door. It perpetuated the lore that those helmets actually reduced visibility to wearer which is why none of them can aim straight. Even in Rebels, the Clones were making fun of them.

The baby tossing might actually be a reference to to "Police Squad" also starring Leslie Nielsen, where a hilarious dramatic intro has everyone jumping out windows, running around on fire, and needlessly tossing a baby away from themselves, while the officer seems to fire randomly in response.
