Oh that happens every time for sure. Groups take 15+ minutes to form and another 5 minutes to start most keys. Unless its an upgrade its always slower haha

I had a situation like that yesterday. Throne 10+ so a low key - I pull the first 2 packs, but get a massive latency spike for 3 seconds (mobs running in place, abilities not going off). I die immediately of course, reset and reestablish my threat (nobody else died), but the healer ups and leaves. No word, nothing. And just like that, 15 seconds into the run the key gets depleted. Everyone else in the group was flabbergasted why the healer left - we had the entire timer and it was my key.

I've started calling some players "MDI-pilled" (spinning off "red-pilled") where they pug into keys and expect the random pugs to try their insane strats just because the tank watched the MDI for 20 minutes and felt inspired to subject random players to the strats used at the highest level.

I was doin a +18 in throne and we had a warlock leave randomly 8mins in. We went on to finish the dungeon but did not progress the key. I whispered him after and asked him when he left he said the tank was playing to aggressively and he didn’t like it. Also said that the tank kept pulling the mob to him. After a short convo with him he dropped his twitch and I watch for 15ish min. I watched this guy in a +17 everbloom. Run into the middle of 8+ mobs and die multiple times. As all this was happening I was wishing that I had a screen recorder so I could send it to u.

Funniest thing... when there is no timer for these types of keys, I still guarantee there will be tons of disbands because the issue isnt the timer, its these players egos.

We can keep going while searching for a 3rd dps and I’m sure somebody coming within 5 min would have made the difference of bricking or timing

@@alexanderb2991 I have a video on it too if you want. It's confusing how they word it but basically mythic plus 2 to 10 NOW is removed and turned into a single mythic zero difficulty then. After that, a two is meant to be the difficulty of an eleven now.

There's an addon called personal black list and it'll notify you every time you join a group that has a player you put on it in it, you can add a note as well as to why they're on it. Every time metro drops a vid, I'm on raider IO finding the person and that list gets a little bigger :P

I think that was probably the worst one especially with the fact he acted like a big time player then embarrassed himself on first pull. in end of last season i had hard time to fill a group for my 20+ but after 30 min we finaly got full group, we went inside, i placed feast, readycheck and inserted key. same second key started tank wrote "hihi" i partychat and ran out and left group....

This has happened to me maybe like 2 times and it was because I pulled bigger than that group could handle they started to being toxic to me and I got irritated and things scalated, the trick is to not yell at the mistakes because everything can scale so quickly, so if some idiot complains on my key nobody says anything and the guy shuts up. Or in some other cases I just explain what they are supposed to do, like if Im going left on AD, i say im gonna interrupt the confessors so everyone else job is to interrupt the Augurs. But tbh it really dont matter if a key gets disbanded because it doesn't get depleted anymore and you only have to do 18s to get mythic lvl gear. What I wish is just having a keystone lvl, lets say I have Keystone 15, I can use that key on ANY dungeon and that dungeon will scale to 15. I hate the RNG, its been 7+ years(?) and we still have rng on keystones, why?

You just described why disbands do matter. You may be wanting to just do you key in order to change it to something else and some clown acts like these people and ruins the ability to do that and wastes your time. Not to mention causing your key to go backwards.

Here's a crazy thought; What if every member of the group was required to enter their own key before the start of the Mythic+ Dungeon run? At least every member of the group has some skin in the run and suffered the same consequences if it failed.

Ya they have no intention of being a part of a team. Really mythic plus is not right for them. But the game doesn't encourage them to get better and allows them to just ruin the game for the other members of their teams and get away with it. It's on us to fix that.

There needs to be a hidden Bnet account ban ability. My point is, if someone intentionally bricks your key like these 3 examples, you should be able to personally ban their account from your possible invite choices. Let's say the "bladestorm warrior in WC" bails on the group. I should be able to click a button in the interface that bans their Bnet account from being able to join my keys, or perhaps I can see their toon name in a highlighted "banned" color to indicate that I have ran into them before and it was horrible like this. I don't need their information, that can be kept on Blizzard's side of things.

It’s not embarrassing. You can only offer help and advice for those that want to become better. The tank didn’t care to become better. The rest of the group tried by marking and dropping pins for him. If the tank had been trying, I’m all in. The tank either didn’t care or was trolling. It’s becoming difficult to tell the two apart.

Ya that's exactly what it looks like to me as well. Like legit, their goal is not to succeed, and they don't expect any success anywhere. So as soon as they recognize anything that even remotely looks like failure they take that as confirmation and leave. This problem has gotten TOTALLY out of control, and its up to us to fix it.

really never have been able to understand the point of going left in really low keys. i mean if its a geared decent io group trying to farm crests then yeah go ahead but in an 11 with people who fit the io and ilvl of an 11 it really doesnt make sense. just hate how many people try to copy what they see really high rated players doing when its really only needed for the top 0.1%. its kind of like a taxi driver randomly getting tossed into a semi truck and being like here deliver this load using this route.

The big thing I have noticed and it is like this every season, is when the MDI comes out and all these pugs try to attempt the routes/pulls the pros are doing. Before the MDI in atal, every pug group would go straight to Rezan and bloodlust. Legit after the MDI aired every pug "goes left" now trying to imitate the MDI groups. Not sure why they try to copy them, these guys are doing +30s on live and here we are in a 15 or a 20 trying to copy them.

Hmm I would not say that is related honestly. Atal left is popular and has been since bfa. It's just hard to interrupt all the enemies and you have clueless dudes like the paladin doing it then blaming others when they fail.

1st clip: Yeah theres no way that pack (or those didnt see if both sides got pulled or just one) gets accidentally pulled, either the lock was on auto pilot because he thinks there's only one route that's doable and its his or he pulled it with the reasoning "it should be pulled". I'm assuming based on his message about chain pulling that the tank started by pulling the non elite souls then possibly chained it into the hallway patrol before going into boss (fairly standard although usually you just pull everything in one big pull, because the souls cast a lot I understand the instinct to handle them before pulling more). Warlock is just a classic case of "My way is the only right way and if you do something different you're stupid and bad" 2nd clip: Yeah that pull is not doing the fire mage any favors xD that being said I can't criticize the pull cause I don't know this tanks route, he might be planning on a big second pull but wants to get rid of the souls first or he doesn't think he can handle pulling the souls into his next pull but either way this warrior is just stupid there was absolutely no reason to leave there you can't even really tell if the group is good or bad because that pull is so trivial and easy. 3rd clip: Yeah definitely a fuck up by the tank, first of his comment about "if you're slow on lust I'll drum" rubbed me the wrong way, feels so unnecessarily toxic for no reason. Probably should have saved the lust for the second pull or properly thought this through cause yeah that group had 3 good interrupts 2 of which are on the tank and 1 on the evoker while the locks have terrible interrupts for kick rotations and priest obviously has none. TL:DR Tank doesn't know how to play around his groups composition

Hi! I'm the pally tank from the first clip! ^.^ I actually pulled the hallway patrol into a side pack in the boss room. It wasn't great but no one died. The 2 deaths are actually from bursting on the first pull with all the souls; No one used any defensives and the lock and someone else fell over. Then the lock decides to pull the pack that I didn't even look at and wipes us and leaves lol.

@walrusdojo lol sounds pretty standard, personally I like doing both side packs cause they're free count anyway but like I said idk your specific route and I don't think skipping one is bad or even wrong. It was clear from the clip you did nothing wrong and by your description Lock doesn't understand what "chaining" is cause that doesn't sound like chaining to me xD

i dont see the issue with pugs i do my 8 +20 every week with no issues maybe out of 10 runs 1 or 2 will quit cuz a mistake but thats it. really easy to get them done all timed... yall need to check peoples io and their rating for an specific dungeon...

I had a situation like this the other night. I wish I had been recording, but it was late and I didn't feel like setting it up. We were in an EB 20, I was tanking. We were in front of the third boss and still had the 3 casters alive (pyro, frost, arcane) and ther eas an attendant nearby as well. I decided to pull the attendant and ran over to another group of attendants and was going to pull them over to the three casters. As soon as I ran away to get the other mobs, the balance druid pulled the 3 casters and died. Someone in the group made a comment like "please let the tank pull". The druid got mad and said he pulled because "the mobs were right there, why wait?" but then accused me of not holding aggro and saying he died because he pulled aggro off of me. This is right after he admitted to pulling the mobs himself (while I wasnt there.) Then he dropped group and proceeded to be toxic in DMs. So weird. We ended up finishing 4 man.

Absolutely not. The answer is not to run away from this problem. The more people who do that, the higher percentage of the player pool these people make up. We all need to do our part and help solve this issue until blizzard finally decides to help out.

We should re-define what a "low key" is. Seems like a lot of people calling anything under a 24ish a low key these days. Something like 10% of the people doing keys are timing above 20s. Yes for a good player a 20 feels like nothing is happening. And then there are people earnestly failing a +7. Maybe we dont have to think of it as a binary (low keys or high keys). Maybe we add in a middle one just called "keys" in the like 18-23 range or something. I dunno. I just know 20 doesnt feel like a low key to many many people.

Low key is anything below the max power rewards blizzard offers. So anything below 20 would be low.

i know i am playing wow myself.its funny how these things always erupt more towards the end each season...i assuming these people feel like something is owned to them because they are playing the correct class (meta)......the only thing that we can do to ourself is play with our friends..i am lucky in this regard.

if someone did 40k on the first pull in WCM id assume its a boost instantly. i think just pressing any aoe on any healer would get above that? not to say anything bad about you since you say it a lot from a more experienced perspective, but i think when ppl keep saying "its only a 18, or only a 21 its a low key" you sort of give these ppl an out of thinking tis not too high. ive been in 13s i cant heal because ppl legit seem to try to take damage or think that the group with 3 kicks in 5 min will stop the 12 casters, or in keys where im fighting twice as long as needed and just expected to deal with the escalating damage to compensate i dont quite understand why ppl call anything above a 18 low, if the baseline of keys was up in that range, i dont think most ppl would ever finish a key

Fire mage was just fireballing there. FB over FS on 7 mob pack is sus but holding cds maybe valid bc the two other dps will just demolish this pack anyway and lots of tanks like to do the second pull with multiple captains and the witch where the fmage can blast his cooldowns effectively.

To be fair, outside of combust that is the damage they do lol. Look at a good fire mage log, they will have around 40% combustion uptime, and in a 23 pulling those first 7 mobs is questionable and I don't doubt nobody wanted to click cds there. I looked that guy up and granted he is pretty bad, but go ask any mage streamer how much damage they do without SKB or combustion lol. Because outside of those all you do it cast fireball trying to build procs to get SKB.
