Nathan Donald Diaz (born April 16, 1985) is an American professional mixed martial artist who is currently a free agent. Diaz is most known for his time spent fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he fought for over 15 years after winning The Ultimate Fighter 5. Prior to signing with the UFC, Diaz competed in World Extreme Cagefighting, Strikeforce, and Pancrase. Diaz has the third most UFC bonus awards, with 16 in total.

Never have I respected Nate, largely because I believed he was just a gangster from LA, with a BIG mouth. Over the years, I've seen his work in the ring and at camp. Today, I don't think Mike Tyson could knock him out - I'm not sure anyone can. He is the Energizer Bunny of MMA - he just keeps on coming. On the opposite side, I thought Connor was a braggart with solid street skills. After watching him for a while, I came to appreciate his work and fighting in the squared circle. Today, my thoughts have completely flipped. I like Nate because of his undeniable will to win and fight. NOBODY comes close to him in that regard. I still like Connor, but his antics are almost comedic, his fighting style is still good, but antiquated.
