I remember dueling this one dude a few days ago and I cleared his field. He had no cards. He draws a Reinforcement of the Army and in that one turn he was able to Link/Xyz/Synschro Summon a chunk of monsters and he obviously beat me but boy was I hyper pissed that one spell card can result in him building back his entire field.

The effects are good but battle traps are useless since most competetive decks can get rid of them before even entering the battle phase. They need to start making new battle traps that has strong floating effects to even be played.

Think basically waking the dragon but if it doesnt float then you get to use the battle protection. That is the only way now for battle traps to be useful.

My real guess is that he DID know of the two magic cylinders but he thought he could face tank the damage and remove the threats on board, howEVER he didn't read cylinder revolver properly, thinking it's only a retriever for magic cylinder and not a boost. You have no cards in hand, so if he kept pressure on board he could've smothered you. That's what I think

There are some obvious reasons, obviously the bait. But also because swordsouls already have a strong innate burn, so a good cylinder and then throwing the general for a 10 sync again basically leads to a win by burn (specially with the new level 10 ss synchro possibly burning an additional 2400) without the new synchro you are netying around 5600 in burn from cylinder or end by battle, for new ss. Youre pushing 3200 minus battle.

Just so people are aware. Yugioh is such a trash game that the Forbidden List (Illegal to play the following cards) Includes: Pot of Greed Last Will Change of Heart Giant Tsunade Graceful Charity Ultimate Offering Metamorphosis Confiscation Eclipse Wyvern Imagine thinking those cards are so overpowered they must be forbidden from the game, meanwhile Ash is ran in every single deck, as well as multiple XYZ cards with 24 negates and effects. These cards weren't even good when they came out, now with decks that involve 90 negates per turn these cards are STILL Forbidden. What a fucking joke. Yugioh literally just bans anything that people used to force them to buy the newest cards. Its a scam and it was always a scam aimed at children.

This Hero player is as thick as a brick because of how the Swordsoul player misplayed during the battle phase there. The Swordsoul player activated the Magic Cylinder he had set on his turn first and NOT the one he got off of Magical Cylinders that his opponent got to see, meaning if the Hero player were actually paying attention, he would have know his opponent had 2. I hope this Swordsoul player learns to use the ones he gets off Magical Cylinders first so his opponent has to guess if he has another one or not.

Actually you messed it up. You should first use the one what you set by the Magic Cylinders, so you avoid that the enemy does know you have an other one. So he might think you used the one you had, so he can attack freely. Anyway your opponent was dumb as a stone but it wouldn't work against a player who can actually play.

the misplay by the magical cylinder player was to activate the one set from hand first. Any yu gi oh player capable of reading would quickly then deduce the one set from deck was still in play and that attacking was not safe. It's a good thing yu gi oh players can't read

Their opponent look dumb, but maybe he was not dumb, because loseing without a surrender will count is daily mission, and life time mission, in the daily mission and life time mission, you get reward depending on how many times you normal summoned, other reward for how many time you special summoned, how many time you activate spell is a diffrent reward and so on, if he was able to do does thing before an easy lose, they will be counted for does reward, however if he was able to do does thing, and surrender, then it will not count for does mission. They are situation where it is better to surrender, since your unable to play any card, because your opponent will win on first turn, since you would be unable to make the daily mission and life time mission regardless.
