When I worked at KFC I asked when/where I'll get my name tag? The manager told me "We don't do name tags here. We had a bad stalking incident with a customer so....." I was taken aback by that explanation, not gonna lie. Something like that woulda *never* even crossed my naive little mind.

Why would you? Stalkers have an abnormal obssessive mindset. I've had two stalkers 10 years apart. It's earth shattering. They were both very different types of men BUT the thing they both had in common was delusions that they were in a romantic relationship with me. The first time I was even engaged but that doesn't stop their delusions. Name tags are nothing these days. If someone knows just a few things about you, they can usually find you on social media, often with little effort. This gives them access to who are friends and family are, place of employment, children's info, and more. They can easily build on that information too. Nowadays, it's normal for people to put their life online and for the most part things are fine. But there are some sick, sad people in this world so it's good to be aware.

Stalkers are so scary . When I was 16 I was a cashier at Winn Dixie and I'd get calls to the store from some man and he would tell me how he went through my line and I looked so beautiful and he wanted to take me away blah blah blah. My bosses tried checking cameras but it could have literally been anyone. I rode my bike home from work so I was unnerved to say the least. Then I started finding in the morning like 10-14 cigarette butts outside my window 😱 that's all that ever came of it though thankfully

If you live in a country with different acceptable religions or societal norms to your own country/upbringing and cannot follow them then you should either do a course or if that's not possible then face deportation. If I moved to certain countries I would absolutely research the accepted norms and rules not least for my own safety but out of respect for the country, it's citizens and it's rules/laws.

He could do wood in general. Like when wood chips fall into your iced tea and you drink it and, when it comes out the other side, it cuts up your rectum. Or: when your wooden leg gets termites and you're walking down the aisle to meet your spouse, you fall and the termites pour out and start attacking guests and your S.O. is so shocked and embarrassed, they run away crying and call off the wedding. Or: you are picking your teeth with a new toothpick and it slips and burrows under your gum and gets stuck so you have to get surgery but they miss some and a little sliver of wood gets infected and it swells up your mouth when you are sleeping and you suffocate. Or: you are taking a test with a wooden pencil and you stretch and it falls between your fingers and on the desk behind you by accident and hits on the eraser and bounces up and sticks in the girl's eye and she starts freaking out and flailing her arms and running all around and knocks over a guy who wasn't exactly hinged to begin with and this tips him over the edge so he goes out to his pickup to get his machete and comes back and goes to town. Or: A guy is cutting off branches with a pruner and it falls and decapitates him and it just so happens, his eight-year-old twins see it and it scars them for life so, when they grow up, they move into a large house overlooking a small town and obsess over it and how much wood is being used in it. They slowly buy up all the wooden structures and replace them with other materials: Glass, plaster, marble, etc. The whole town isn't allowed to have anything wooden in it. All the trees are gone. If you bring in any wood, the twins will "take care of you". You can't even drive through the town in a station wagon with wooden panels without drawing the ire of the twins.

Now, women have a choice and can spot the crazies right away or just know who they are not attracted to. Back, before mental illness (you seem to think it is more prevalent than back then), women were stuck in these marriages that were miserable where most men were allowed to control their women, according to tradition. Women in these situations usually stayed silent and endured the torture/marriage or they were killed by their husbands. Forensics and better investigations were not a thing back then. We have a larger population and more knowledge (shared information) about these things now.
