Research shows that in the hour before bed, 96.9 percent of people use their smartphone, and 90.8 percent use their smartphones while in bed just before sleep.
Smartphone addiction leads to sleep procrastination. The scrolling and staring cycle is a dangerous draw on tomorrow's productivity and creativity.
Recently, in one of our Group Coaching Calls with the Better Sleep Community, Nancy shared how she believed she was using her phone to procrastinate on her sleep.
She was fully aware of it but wasn’t sure what to do about it.
We decided to do some Tapping together to see what would come up. With her permission, I will share this part of our call so you can see how we used Tapping on the anxiety that showed up when she imagined not using her smartphone in the evenings.
In addition, we were able to figure out how using her smartphone before bed was serving her. Yup, it’s serving a purpose.
To find out how it served her, check out this week’s video.
Once you’ve watched the video, I am curious to know if you also experience this.
Share it in the comments below.
Hugs,
Carol
