@@AdrianOkay Depending on the Sher you bring you're right BUT even the Jumbo can pen a Tiger's front plate on the cheeks and the cupola. The problem is that you need to aim for these and even the most brainless of Tiger players can use A and D. They can simply shoot the gun then go for the side shoot or try to aim at the weak spots tho.

the early shermans are very good. in higher br the sherman suffers, as it looses mobility (even the stabi) for some armor and some firepower. its the same as with t34... every early one is a monster in its tier, t34-57 is the pinnacle, and then the suffer line increases. but you dont have to play every sherman and t34... just skip he cost to crew them, and research a better tank in a higher br, before you up your br.

For most tanks fighting panthers and king tigers those are the only things they can do. Panther frontal armor assuming it's fighting at its own BR is almost completely frontally immune with a few exceptions. People can aim for the turret cheek but that will not result in a kill only in killing gunner or commander or loader, and even then depending on the tank might not be able to pen panther turret either. Hence they resort to shooting at your tracks and gun. They do so not out of sadism but out of necessity.

Germany players cry/whine about their blatantly overpowered vehicles not being able to consistently curbstomp every tank on the field, and litterally have tantrums on the forum when their 100% dominance is threatend by common sense BR/SP changes. This BR is honestly hell, just because everything is basically better. The Jumbo is basically the only heavy that doesnt have paper armour in that BR, yet because your average Jumbo player is magnitudes of IQ higher than your average braindamage german main, the stats are stable so they keep uptiering the jumbo. Every toddler basically jumps to Germany, and ends up dragging down the vehicle stats to the point that this shit actually seems fair from a data POV. The moment a german player with a slightly lukewarm IQ gets on, then its basically game over. It actually fucking sucks playing Sweden, France, and America most of the time. You have to deal with a game that caters specifically towards Russian/German vehicles, purely because the community starts crying when their 88 doesnt immedietly one shot a jumbo to the front.

something might be wrong with me. i play the panther as a flanker and i brawl with it at very close ranges using the hull to aim the turret to get around its low traverse speed. and then like a full schizo do a full 180' personality turn and play like a tank destroyer and hit things from 800 meters and beyond. almost like you can make the panther do it all. she's fast, she's agile, got a really punchy gun that puts holes into anything it encounters, and has enough armor to take a few hits.
