We said, “And eating?” The Prophet said, “That is even worse.” THIS HADITH PROVES IT IS A SIN TO DRINK OR EAT WHILST STANDING UP Source : Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2024 🍔 🍟 🥛 Because the Prophet P.b.u.h has been seen drinking water whilst standing up does not mean it is o.k for us to do so ONLY AN ILL PERSON CAN READ SALAH SITTING DOWN For Example the Prophet P.b.u.h has read salah sitting down but this does not mean because there are hadiths it becomes o.k for us to do so on all occasions THE PROPHET P. Shaykh I heard people say “if you’re not Salafi you’re Ahlul Bidah” and I asked them if Mufti Menk said that. They told me Mufti Menk said the saved sect is Salafiyyah and all other sects are misguided. Mufti if this is true I’ll become Salafi rn. If this false I’ll continue to be Shia. How to handle cantankerous, foul-mouthed people, I use humour and be nice in my choice of words and phrases. I'd be nice sometimes in an annoying way. Years ago, my late father used to always be *ANGRY* and *INSULTING* in everyday life. I avoided reacting with "F^%# off," "shut the f^%# up," etc. Instead of telling him to "shut up," I'd say "pipe down," "quit growling," "stop barking," etc. I put my father in fouler mood by saying with a big smile on my face 😁 : "Look, the weather is nice outside, so it is a lovely day for gardening." He hated my obsession with flowers.
