I don't understand this logic. This sounds more like a concept of what a Parent is compared to a Birth Giver or Baby Daddy. I don't know it just may be the fact I am a Surrogate child who was made with a Sperm Donner from a bank; that its not who gave birth to you and that it is who RAISED you that is your parents. This just sounds like Social Justice BS. The Wizard never raised Abigail, she may never see him as anything more than a Biological Father. Maybe someone to form a relationship too but never someone whom she will call Dad one day. Pierre raised her, took care of her, provided for her, taught her how to live mostly in the world.
