The potato cellar was down to its last dozen spuds so they were rationing the potatoes and rice. The free cheese, butter and powdered milk only goes so far. Not making excuses, just saying. Jon still thinks about that graham cracker and it eats him up. He can't keep a job and has been riding the rails from town to town in search of poor kids to give crackers to make up for it. He prays every night that you would find it in your heart to forgive him.

@ Connie Setter, I would never be able to watch that one as I am a HUGE pet lover!!! If I find a stray, I bring it home, as does my daughter!!! One night, on a very cold, raining February evening, I brought home a puppy that was covered in mud. Needless to say, he pooped all over our kitchen but the he was SO ADORABLE!!! The shelter stated that he had been adopted within 2 days!! I also leave heating pads on my furniture on our back porch for the kittykitty’s that are feral in my backyard for colder months, it’s well covered and they all have covers!! My daughter does the same thing!!

I guess i could write here one prank that went wrong. My step-father had a pretty good job at the local factory, it was an easy job that paid well and our family really needed the money. So one day he decided it would be a great idea to use a pen to make smily faces on the food(fruits,etc) of his working partners. His partners were not amused and reported this to their boss. My step-father was fired a day later.

I once worked night shift at a nursing home for 6 years as a nurse aide. This one co worker, an old lady (also a nurse aide) was really bad about not wearing gloves. As if that wasn't nasty enough, she collected aluminum cans straight out of the trash, also bare handed. Well, at the end of every shift, nurse aides take their own trash to the dumpster. Note that dumpsters at nursing homes STINK bc there's lots of adult briefs in them. This lady saw a can in there and thought she'd just climb in and get it right quick. Got stuck in there for a good bit until someone from the kitchen morning shift found her while cleaning up breakfast.
