I just want to emphasize that this is not mainly an allegory of being trans. But it is an allegory about how society will go against people wanting to be other than what society wants them to be. Princess Cookie ending up in the mental hospital is indeed problematic but it reflects reality and how it was back then when gay people were sent to asylums, rehab, conversion camps to "make them straight" or just treat them like crazy people. "It's making trans people look suicidal" - says some people No. That's not what the episode is trying to say. It's not saying that being part of the LGBTQ makes you suicidal. It's saying that society pushes people over the edge with their hate, stigma, and discrimination. Also, I would be lying if this Christian binary belief is not a factor of why a lot of us are more likely to be suicidal than others. On that note, this episode also reminds me of how Nimona (Netflix movie) would rather die than live without shapeshifting cause that is who she is. You get to live your life where people's hate keep piling up on you, you just end up crumbling like a cookie.

Bubblegum even in the first episode causes the dead to rise. Let’s be honest, she’s a decent leader, but can be a jerk at times.
