@Sydney Derheim in Pulp fiction there's a suitcase which gets picked up by two of the characters (Jules and Vince, played by Sam L Jackson and John Travolta, respectively). Whenever the suitcase is opened, it's never shown what's inside but we always see the alleged object inside glow onto the characters' faces. It's supposed to signify that it's something very valuable. We just don't know what it is. The oven glowing is a reference to that.
