Before anything else, I want to say I don't really count this as an actual clear, mainly since I skipped the last phase of the fight.
This is still a newly released mod, so stuff like this will happen.
Since I have IRL stuff to deal with right now, I'll have to come back to this another time.
Now, Pale Shadow has some very interesting changes, mainly with the speed of its attacks, which almost completely forces you to make some good use of the parry mechanic.
You can use DDark, of course, which can help you get away with very tricky situations, but you only get a limited number of casts until you have to turn back to parrying again. So even without any restrictions, the fight still proves to be challenging.
One thing to note is that, for Nail Only, Mark of Pride is actually a charm that you should have in the build, since it does actually help with the parry window.
I dont know whether this should be a surprise, for me it was, since the boss was moving at basically lighting speed, I really thought it wouldn't matter.
But having the charm on actually makes the fight better, and it makes the final phase (again, it wasn't shown here, I skipped it) actually possible.
There's a lot more I could say about this boss, but for now, I'll just leave it at that.
