He's actually back in the Aus squad after a few years of absence. Even won them some games (2 against SA).

2011 super rugby season for Queensland reds he was proper balling out and won the comp that year! His journey has been incredible comes back into the wallabies in 2021 for two games and wins both games respectfully! Now he’s back in Japan playing rugby! 🙏

You got that right about the scrum half and fly half being the “Quarter back”
@m00d_fm3 жыл бұрын
I reckon your analogy regarding the scrum and flyhalf being two halves of a QB is pretty spot on. They each have different roles but can usually overlap as needed, but the play starts from those 2.
@truthseeker73223 жыл бұрын
Wicked analysis. Yes you're correct. Scrum half starts the attack #10 gets it in motion. He is the desicion maker of the team. The general, The QB.

Quade Cooper in that 2009-2012 erra was the bomb...back then he was Cheslins favorite player.... Like every kid in SA wanted to be him when we played touch (tag) rugby in the streets

That clutch penalty kick against South Africa was this year at the rugby championships

it''s his touch rugby background that makes him such a god level stepper. recommend watching a video of touch rugby, preferably between nz and australia.

Quade was the first to bring that skip step into rugby. Colby, and everyone else started developing it into their game imitating QC. That match against South Africa was in the rugby championship earlier this year. Wallabies had just lost 3 in a row to All Blacks, and was getting written off as a top level team. Not only did QC kick the winning goal, he set up 3 of the trys and was the best player on the park that night. Wallabies won the next match against SA a week later too. Quade playing a big part in that as well.

Nah man, Quade learnt that from his birthland New Zealand where that step was with the Pacific Islander and Maori kids playing touch rugby and tackle from grade school.
@davecheffie57063 жыл бұрын
@@sasrio_ Quade spent his school years in Australia. He went to school with Karnichael Hunt, they used to practice doing steps like that in Brisbane. And that comes from Quade himself.
@sasrio_3 жыл бұрын
@@davecheffie5706 Nah, Quade moved to Australia at 13 years old. In New Zealand, they start rugby from 5 years old. And Quade would travel back to New Zealand during school holidays, playing summer rugby tournaments in New Zealand. Who else in Australia that doesn't have Pacific origins steps like this?? Yet so many from the Pacific Islands and New Zealand step like this. Roger Tuivasa Sheck, Phoenix Hunapo-Nofoa, William Ryder, Sinot Sinoti, Shaun Johnston, Kalyn Ponga, Nehe Milner-Skudder, Jerry Tuwai... they all have almost an identical step. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZSVn6J_mayUhrM

Instead of not showing dislikes, what KZbin should do is let you 'like' or 'dislike' a specific point in the video. I feel like that would more accurately represent what I was tryna say with my like, and it would look like SoundCloud. You kept saying clever stuff and I was like 'Man, he's really learning this properly, that's awesome. I should like so he sees that I liked at this timestamp'. But then I've already liked the video.

If Benji Marshall played rugby instead of NRL he would be Quade Cooper. You probably havent heard of him because aussies fans dont think every player from their country is the GOAT . Also , Aus v SA is a 50/50 result, no surprise that an aussie win is featured in this.

He did and he did it wrong tho , Benji should’ve went to a npc team and then super rugby and then abs not straight into super rugby . Blues was the wrong choice
