I really don’t understand people. There’s a sign on the wall clearly asking people not to touch the horse or the reins but stupid people still ignore both the guard’s shouting and the sign. Also the patience of the guards is amazing I know I couldn’t handle it. RESPECT is only a 7 letter word but has such a strong meaning. So if you’re going to London to see the guards remember RESPECT, the men are only doing their job.

Most were fine, he liked them, let them pat him. But one guy, YH didn't like him, kept dancing on the spot. Then the guy lunges for the bridle. Gets bit for his trouble, because YH was an aggressive bastard if needed. So he rears up and we were gone! Your Honour was an ex-racehorse, 16 hands, and he could moooooove. He'd never run that fast with me before, all I could do was lower myself, down around his neck and hold on. Any of these people, no matter the age, race, or experience, if invading the space that says “THESE HORSES MAY KICK OR BITE!”, and says specifically, “DO NOT GRAB THE REINS,” … DESERVE everything they get. These horses get sick and tired of strangers just waltzing in and making themselves at home, doing as they please. When a horses reaches out to kick, or bite.. THEY ARE TELLING YOU THAT YOU ARE IRRITATING THEM AND INVADING THEIR SPACE! You get what you deserve! At LEAST the palace was nice enough to put up warnings…. For what good it does…, because stupid is, as stupid does…., people DO NOT READ, or ask!! They just follow the crowd. IDIOTS abound.

I would certainly hope anyone "knocked" down by the horse would not get any insurance money. The signs are very clear "do dumb stuff at your own risk".

All the poor horses that fell was probably due to the Slippery smoothe Bricks and the horses Not wearing Rubber Shoes , it's an Easy Fix to Prevent the horses from Falling and Hurting themselves..

They have to show so much tradition that the sounds of the steel shoes are part of it. I agree with you and thought of the rubber horseshoes as well, but then remembered the traditional sound of the metal shoes.
