I was there that night, sat in the East Stand. It was a similar feeling that night to when we best Porto & Juventus in the previous years. They were a good side then, got results & put on performances. Fergie had all the players pulling together… can you hear the way the British media fawns over Roma’s players as if they were gods of football…. Yet, United had one of the soon to be best players in the world. The team of today should watch these games, how to play simple football. Maybe Mr Rashford could see what Giggs delivered from wide areas…
