Just read a quote 'Plans of a sailor are written in sand at low tide' and i think it sums it up perfectly. What a wonderful place we would have missed with Plan A! Hope you enjoy exploring this place as much as we did.

Be safe when you sail up the coast, perhaps go in a wee convoy with others perhaps? I’m not sure where it was at but a bloke got boarded 3 times by robbers last week off the Colombian coast, it was on KZbin, I think he sailed too close to the coast, you may have heard about it? He managed to send a message back to someone in Norway, they then contacted the Colombian Coast Guard.

There are some areas that you have to be mindful in. Thankfully we didn’t have any issues while there, you always hear about the people who have had issues and never all the cruises who leave Colombia with no issues.

Many many years ago I represented Iguaçu, one of those coffee conglomerates, unfortunately. Been to Colombia for business a few times, we weren’t even allowed to get beans for our own consumption from those little independent plantations. Love your channel, the authenticity is like a breath of fresh air, please don’t change and become commercialized like many other sailing channels did.

the both of you do such a great job looking after and out for one another. This week my partner and I visited the USVI and the poverty standing next to the evidence of great success is very stark there as it is in many places on the globe. You two have really done great job of proving once again that life is an adventure, best lived with a loving partner. It seems to me that Relationship Education is missing entirely in our society. One does not need to look very hard to see the serious relationship troubles that young men and women are having these days. Things have really gone off the rails because young men and women don’t seem to understand the real reasons why they should be together. Your videos should be shown in schools, to show the youngsters what you two are experiencing and achieving by working together as a team. I think you two wonderfully demonstrate what they’re missing.

Things being stolen from your boat or even taking your boat. But it looks like they are trying to change. It is such a beautiful place. Here on the Big Island. We have coffee ☕️ and Chocolate 🍫 growing. If you can say, how much was the Marina fees? And was it part of a hotel? Want to say Happy New Year 🎉. Oooo? What was wrong with the star 🌟 link? Ok! Suitable footwear is a must when you’re walking, especially in the jungle and unfamiliar ground. I’ve seen so many people suffer sprained and broken ankles and busted tendons through walking on rough ground in sandals and flip flops. Even saw one idiot Russian guy climbing Ben Nevis just wearing a kilt and flip flops!! Last saw him having his bleeding foot dressed by his girlfriend on the summit in a howling, very cold wind! What an idiot! Love your videos, and yes, I’m very jealous!!

I've known about the Colombian coffee-growing industry being in the greedy-graspy grip if a single corporation and its political minions for a long time. I even refused to buy or drink Colombian coffee for a while, and as an Australian decided to drink only Australian-grown coffee. Yes, Australia has everything, including tea and coffee, as a result of the fact that it is the ONLY country in the world that has all climate zones within its territory. Anyway, it was pointed out to me that not drinking Colombian coffee doesn't help Colombian growers, which is of course pretty self-evident. I am a coffee drinker because alcohol turned me off the first time I tried it when I was 16, and decided I saw no good reason to ever bother again. I am now 83 years old and have every reason to believe I made the right decision! In the meantime, I absolutely loved this episode!
@davidforbes77728 ай бұрын
Not true that Australia has all the climate zones. Kenya does as well - just vertically.
@leonaessens43998 ай бұрын
Well, no, including Australia's Antarctic territory, there's no way Kenya can match Australia. Plus mainland Australia "vertically" from north to south WITHOUT the Antarctic territory is almost 4000 km, close to four times as long as Kenya. What you are saying is nonsense.
