Death by smothering... constantly feeling that your opponent has again rushed to net must really fray your nerves over time, because you know you've got to pass him, his volleys are lethal

In all fairness to Delpo, this was the first time he played against a serve and volley. A couple of more matches like this and Delpo would know how to deal with it.

Llodra was absolutely on fire at Paris-Bercy 2012. I would have loved if he eventually won the whole tournament, but he actually lost to an in-form David Ferrer in the semis.

No just his forehand not allow a lot of lift so it’s harder to pass. Much less curvy than. Nadal
