When should you use Boost (Chlorine) in an Arctic Spa with the Spa Boy or Onzen Saltwater System?

When you have an Arctic Spa hot tub, swim spa, or All Weather Pool, when should you use Arctic Pure Boost (granular chlorine)? I just hit the boost button. Works great.

The Boost button turns on the salt system manually for a period of time. This can accomplish the same if the salt level is correct, your electrode has not worn out, etc. Let us know if you need more help at [e-mail]

After refilling and adding salt my CL is reading low. PH and Alkalinity look ok, should I add boost now? Keep in mind I did use fresh start before completely draining, including shop vacuming the jets of my swim spa to get as much of the water out. Thanks

Adding the Boost will help get the water better setup for the salt system. It will temporarily shut off the salt system because it reads the chlorine as well. However, after a few days, you should be good anyway. The Boost just helps to speed up the process. So for now, don't worry about it.
